I would also toss in the name of Ronald Martian..... 9 AOYs this is crazy the classic is only one tournament (do not get me wrong it is the hardest to win and is a GREAT win) but the AOY is an culmination of all the tournaments. You have to be consistently in the top 20/ top 10 or even higher to win it.

If I am out in a boat I try and circle around the structure and then pull back wards on it. I do try the bow and arrow technique at first

I try and use either a M or a MH soft rod.

I have mostly competed in high school tournaments so we do not compete for money, but today I cashed my first check!!!!! We were tied for 5th and top 5 cash so tiebreaker went to us and we cashed $60! It feels really good.....no it feels GREAT!!!!!

I had never fished on a school of bass before or if I had I only caught one out of it because I did not have the patience to make m ore casts. Until this past week I hammered a 3-0, and then came back the next cast to catch a 4-1..... I then went on to catch a solid northern Wisconsin limit of 12-11 for my top five on the day. I caught them on a flat that came out and had vertical stumps in deep water making a half circle around it..... Then two days latter I got on another school on a sand flat..... I LOVE THE ADERNILINE RUSH..... I do not have the best electronics and only saw the schools on them after I new they were there (I just wanted to see what the looked like for future reference) Does anybody have help on finding schools of bass, and what weather/ conditions of lake and what areas on lakes, should I be looking for?

Just like most people are saying I would just try and fish the shallow areas at first, shade, shade, shade. Bass do not have eye lids so the sun is a killer. Find the shade that has their forage nearby..... find the bass

When I first got my boat it was a bit overwhelming because I know had the whole lake at my finger tips. One of my big problems has been when I am not catching anything I move to another spot. This can be smart, but I think it hurt me more often than not. So if I were you I would find a bay that also has a point going out on to the main lake. Tie on Crank Bait Power Worm Lipless Crank Bait Football Jig Swim Jig Then start fishing the point and work your way into the bay. While doing this pay attention to the bites you get and the areas you do not get bit. From there take what you learned and come up with a pattern. Weather you caught one fish or 25 fish. Use that pattern on the rest of the lake. Sometimes you will have to go back and fish that first area several times until something producing, but just commit to it and fish your strengths.

I will never complain about catching to many fish, especially at that size
