  1. -25 for a low the past couple of days in Northern Wisconsin..... Just tinkered with tackle like I always do till May
  2. I would go for it buddy make it happen
  3. The lake that I primarily fish is extremely dark..... I have learned that most of the time I go with a dark color plastic. Red shad, black ect. With this said I believe that the main factor is matching the forage of the bass in the lake
  4. I started off having only Rapala's and they are still my favorite..... But I have learned that I need to get some other name brands to cover a wide variety of uses and scenarios
  5. When I first started in jig fishing it was crazy over wheeling..... So I just had to get over the mental hump I always match the color of my trailers to the color of my jig, unless I see the need to add some color (for instance a neon trailer) I am not big on trimming the skirt of the jig until I put the trailer on. If the skirt obstructs the trailer I then will trim the skirt around the trailer
  6. I use a 3/0 to a small tube jig not sure what size is my favorite I use Berkley Havoc, all I really know..... I would like to find some cheaper ones Be patient and let the fish tell you what they want
  7. I have my basement flooded with Plano tackle boxes on the floor. I just love tinkering with my gear and making it more organized so that I can better perform on the water. For my jigs I have a box for Football Heads Flippin' and pitching Punching Swim Although I like the idea of the above post on keeping boxes of color, I will definitely weigh that all winter
  8. You can take pictures out of the Gopro
  9. HAHAHAHA I have seen this many times by anglers; they catch a little one (1-8ish), on the way back to the dock it becomes a 2-0 then at the dock they all of a sudden have caught a 3-0 PLUS..... I love it
  10. Thank you and same to all members
  11. I would start by getting some hollow body frogs, I use Spro but that is all personal preference. You will want colors that match the body's of water that you fish. A light and dark frog will be a great start.
  12. Yeah KVD was in the first classic I watched. So I grew up watching him and I honestly thought that he would never miss the classic. It is juts crazy goes to show that you never can get to good for the sport. You always have to be on your edge
  13. I have never heard of anything like that but that would be a interesting twist on things
  14. You can always do co-angler tournaments, and or start a high school club
  15. Hey bud I too am a high school angler and am chasing a dream just like you. I would go find a local sponsorship first if I were you they work the best. Keep on dreaming bud
  16. My favorite would be Bassmaster on ESPN college or elites are cool Major league fishing is awesome too
  17. First of all, thank you for your service. Second I would not be ashamed of your boat, if you have the talent and are willing to put in the work, then go get it. Enter tournaments that you believe you can be competitive in..... Then go get it and trust God
  18. You can fish the opens and the Nation but must qualify for the elites
  19. Abu Garcia Revo rocket paired with a 13 black ***
  20. Yes, this is true a bad tie can break you off, especial with Fluro. I do not know why this is, something to do with the absorbent quality I bet. Try and tie a palomar, wet it and that should work
