  1. It's off Amazon, you'd have to drop it at a return location and ask for the right one. Or keep it and ask for the right one. Id probably keep it to go with the 10 falcons I own.
  2. Just don't act a fool, and respect the rules.
  3. I got bigger issues then worrying about someone trying to doxx me from their mommy's basement. Like what color bait am I gonna use at the next tournament, how many rods, what's my game plan?. I learned a long time ago people gonna hate. If your life is wrapped up in your persona on the internet and social media, might be good to let it all go, delete, and you get back to being a person. I keep my "social" footprint to a minimum. Facebook, nope, don't need to find people I haven't talked to in years because apparently we aren't good friends. Twitter....don't know how to use it, Instagram, post pics of fish. They wanna come here and look for me.....here I am. What would you like to discuss? Act out of place, Glenn has your number. So I wouldn't worry about this place.
  4. Man I used to hop park lakes in S. Cal. 8 to 10 rods in the car as each park was and could be set up differently. It was like I had a bass boat with 4 wheels. But once there id take 2-3 with me and stuck them behind my back between the pack and me to carry what I wasn't using.
  5. Babasol shave cream scrubbed into the carpet and rinse. Works for my friends phx as well as Mr. Gerald Swindle. Couple cans, stiff brush and a hose.
  6. Okay it doesn't slip, but the weak point in this not when trimmed short is it can loosen up over time. So you figure 4 casts a min, 240 cases an hour, 1240 casts in a day of fishing, going in and out of the guides will wear the knot and can cause it to loosen. It's a great knot, but if I'm gonna make that many casts with 20 or 25lb leader, it can fail. All knot can fail with that much abuse. So I tack it and eliminate that with it and can trim my fc or mono right up the the edge of the knot and have zero tag.
  7. Lighter line 8 up 7 back. Too many wraps causes the braid to damage the fc or mono. Also I take out my handy superglue, squeeze a drop, and put a SMALL amount as in put it on and wipe it off on the braid and will keep the knot from slipping with multiple casts over and over. Do this with heavier baits as well as so they don't slip. But try the 8 and 7, up and back.
  8. Whatever reel you decide to choose since you're the one fishing it, make sure you find a good 7' med hvy rod. Plenty in the $100 to $200 price point that are great rods that will be a good all around set up.
  9. Mike definitely hooks it up and appreciate he quickness when he ships. I proudly display this logo on my boat.
  10. Need to shut this thread down and lock it.
  11. So I work in the fishing industry, it's my job. The answer you're looking for isn't a definitive answer. I've watched 10lb fish break 40lb line. Seen 100lb explode on 50lb fish. And now braid to leader factors in because its a weak point but also diminishes stretch which can cause like to fail. Everything factors in to the line breaking. Sorry, it could have been a 1lb fish or a 6lb fish. You can't get a number. Your disrespect towards the members here that gave you answers that you scoffed at then joked because you want something that can't be answered. You owe this community an apology. No need to disrespect anyone here. Read the rules.
  12. I've read most of your replies from lots of members on this forum. You are stuck on "how big of fish can break 10lb line" which you're obsessed about and have formed your own opinion and answer and looking for affirmation that it was huge. Scuffed off others answers that were put out there knowing you told us you had to button the reel down to fish. Think it's time for this topic to be done. You are the reason YOU lost the fish. Your decisions to lock the drag caused the line to break. You stated she was big, well she still is.
  13. If you're looking for brand, I tried 832....it's okay but not my fav. Found Pline tcb-8 and been fishing that line since 2017 exclusively. My opinion better line then 832
  14. Okay you want a number 3....3oz is my number due to the other factors that caused the line break
  15. Your line got shock loaded which then caused the break. Yeah you can pull hard in a straight steady pull but when it's shock loaded it causes it to break. Just like some I know that backlash straight 50lb braid on a 2oz bait and it sails off into the middle of nowhere. Doesn't take much to break it when its shock loaded. Love to give you some lovely story but there isn't one. It broke because it was shockloaded due to no drag on a broken reel.
  16. Nope, looks about right for all the new reels you're looking to purchase next right before all the new rods.
  17. So this is how I have my boat wired. Same thing blue seas fuse panel with 8guage wire. Now before the fuse panel I have a battery switch back in the back as that fuse panel is dedicated to my electronics only. Pumps, ignition, running lights all run off the acc switch and key switch(for ignition) also on a perko style battery switch. Also need to look at putting a 100-120amp fuse with a reset on the positive before the switch just incase. Then I ran 12guage to my units (2 93sv up front, a HDS 12 touch and a 106ulta at the console) and black box. 14 guage to data hub and rod locker lights. If you're doing all this add a switch or use a rocker switch to turn your black box on and off when not in use. Hope all that helps. It's nice when all your electronic fuses are in one spot and easily accessible.
  18. I throw braid to leader. Shallow cranks, lip less fishing shallow I'll throw mono 12 or 15lb, or go with 15lb fc. And fishing cranks to fish normal depths for the baits 12lb fc leader to braid, if I want them to stay shallower I move to 15lb or 17lb fc. Always braid to leader. Don't have 1 rod in my arsenal that has straight mono or fc on it. (So 30+ set ups)
  19. Yeah not what I was expecting for $25. Bought 4 and I think I still have 2 left in the package from a year ago. They say they work, I'm still waiting....lol
  20. A real bass fisherman never asks "what rods do I need?" We need them all!!! Like asking a woman what shoes she wants.....lol but the above from 2014 is a good starter.
  21. I use the "Hank Cherry" approach with the MB 110+1 and 2's. I put a heavier hook and split ring on the back as so it is a very slow sink tail first. Found out the hard way that the MB ones I had didn't suspend they floated (thank that to ffs) up. So I weight all mine now with heavier split rings or change all the hooks to mustard short triple grips in a 6.
  22. A trick worm neko rigged, if it got sunny, no wind, start to warm, buzzbait, rat, frog. Big girls eat those in the spring. Biggest on a buzz was a 7.8 in 58 degree water. Also had a 6.10 that morning.
  23. Good worms. The standard 6" is awesome dropshot worm. The fats are great for powershot fishing and neko as well. As for new, looking at trying the KGB shad glides. Hard to find and pricey but they catch fish.
  24. Did you look at kietech's ball heads? I know they make a 2/0 in a 1/4. Use it all the time. They're tungsten but have better hooks then Owner and are still the light wire. Also can use their football jig heads. Can cut the small weedguard off and then you have a 3/8oz head with a 2/0 hook. And they work great when trying to keep the bait down.
