Go to mud holes Web site and order an epoxy stick just for tip tops. Also order a Fuji ss/Sic or alconite micro tip top. All you need is a lighter. Shipping from get bit will likely be a little cheaper. I wouldn't want a standard size tip top on a rod loaded with micros.
Don't stress man. It's all good. I was a bit nervous myself the 1st time, but never had an issue or had to pay customs fees. PayPal is the only way to go.
Spooled up some Sunline Defier Armillo and used it for a full day. Hands down the best non fluorocarbon/braided line I've ever used. Casts and handles like an absolute dream. Not to stretchy, and the dark smoke color is super nice. Beyond impressed.
I prefer the Zillion and most Daiwa reels. I appreciate the braking system, even the placement of the dial. Just need to use your thumb for anything and everything. Plus the upgrades are endless and I feel it palms better than most.
What are some better than average choices for reckless cranking? Anything you're using that takes the abuse and seems to not want to stick to everything it touches? Preferably catches fish as well. I suppose I haven't found the nads to toss hardbaits into brush and whatnot as of yet, but it's time. I'm looking for something that can be fished fast and crazy that costs nine bucks or less. Looking at the Evolve Soul 5 and 6th Sense flat and square at the moment. Also the R2S Biggie cranks.
If the click went away after 15 minutes maybe something worked itself Valk together. My Mx fid that too, now it's fine. I can cast on long cast, mag dial at 1. Never tried zero
Spinning rod for sure. High quality fluorocarbon that's actually manageable on a spinning reel. The sensitivity will shine with those wacky rigs on a slack line. Casting set up for jigs where you're in constant contact with your bait is where braid shines.
Yep, no Megabass products are included in Holiday sales per Megabass policy. If you're gonna do one rod get the spinner bait special. I feel the taper is extremely universal. Check out the review on TT. If you don't want to spend that much the moderate fast Kistler Klx rods are very universal as well. The taper is right between a mod fast and fast imo.
If rigging options are unlimited I'll take a Senko, tube, and a grub. However, I'll have a jerkbait in my back pocket and throw it whenever you're not looking. Ima flit 100 to be specific.
