  1. Was on sale at bass pro shop in Spanish fort, AL about a month or so ago. They're $79.96 now as of 5/5/2013. To the best of my knowledge.
  2. Thanks I appreciate any advice I can get I'm really new at this. I've caught a few dinks so far on a spinner bait, and I'm hooked but I'm looking for that 5+ pounder.
  3. How can I tell if a jerkbait is a suspending jerkbait if there is nothing about the bait on the package? Rebel baits are a well known and famous brand, so why is it they put nothing on the package about what the bait is supposed to do. Their cranks have no dive depth written on the package, nor is there weights of the lures, does the minnow jerkbait suspend or float or sink. Not just picking on rebel a lot of brands do this. Strike King is awesome about info on there packaging but for someone on a budget $8 for a jerkbait is a bit much when I can get a Rebel for $4. Bit of a question and a rant, but anyone know how to tell if a jerkbait is a suspending jerkbait without an aquarium or pool cuz I have neither?
  4. OK guys I made a dumb rookie mistake. Bought a bunch of different cranks. Threw the packaging away now I don't know how deep they dive. Found some of the packs but they didn't have depths on them anyway. So how can I tell what depths they dive?
  5. Just getting started but I bought a BassPro Pro Qualifier cuz they had a sale going picked it up for $59.96 and I gotta say by far the best baitcaster I've used so far. Going to get another one in a lower gear for a crankbait setup as soon as I get the $79.96 for it.
  6. Granted I'm new to bass fishing period, but I really like the All Star classic series every rod no matter the action is one piece sensitive graphite with exposed blank under the reel and fugi guides and they are all $49.99 each no matter the size or action. I have two so far and with reels they're pretty balanced just in front of the reels about a half to one inch. I don't know how long they'll last though like I said I'm just getting started.
  7. Thanks guys. I was asking because I'm new to bass fishing and my buddy gave me this rig with nothing on it and I just didn't know what to set it up for.
  8. What is a 6ft 6in medium-heavy rod with a 7.1:1 reel best suited for?
