  1. I'm one of the few lucky enough to be experiencing this heat wave Yesterday temps. were about 98 degrees with humidity it was like 105. Today is a totally different story temps. well past the 100 mark with humidity making it feel around 115 at my place. Way too hot to fish for me, plus the fish are down deeper.
  2. I would probably want to fish with Fish Chris, LBH, or Mattlures. LBH if we ever fish together, lets leave NewEngland and hit Cali or another state that we can catch a double-digit bass without it being a new state record ;D
  3. I have a local lake similar to the one that you described, lots of lilies and weeds but monster fish. There are bunch of options to try, so let me just name some that work for me. 1. Try dragging a weightless softbait( worm, ika, creature, frog, ect.) over the top and let the bait fall into any holes. 2. Fish any weedlines that the lake may offer, spinners work well. 3. Get into a boat and hit secluded areas that fellow shore-fisherman like your self wouldn't be able to fish. 4. If the above option is unavailable, fish away from the crowd. I like to have my tacklebox with me and work my way around long stretches of a pond or small lake. For this, ususally 2 cast is enough for me unless the spot looks promising then maybe 25 casts until I move. Hope this helps
  4. LBH its 16 right, not the other way around otherwise I'd have some pretty stiff competition.
  5. What type of tackle do you have?? If its a bunch of softbaits, someone else should get them. If your tackle consists of Lucky Craft, Megabass, ect I might have to compete with Raul and other poeple that "think" they are still kids ;D
  6. The "bait monkey" is what drives people to buy fishing equipment.
  7. Impressive, only if the credit card/phone company can imitate that. :-/
  8. I think you crashed his party..... ;D
  9. I don't have any videos yet... I'll have some in a couple of months after I buy a camcorder. I have some pics, but I don't want to be affiliated with a strip movie Have fun making it, I would like to see a censored version after you guys finish it :
  10. Senko77 thanks. BTW hows your company doing? Are a lot of people from the forum and elsewhere buying your plastics. Do you have a website yet, if not can you PM with prices and info.
  11. Why are you so desperate to get a sponser, you have posted in the past "If any one knows of a pro-staff position let me know." Getting a sponser doesn't make you a better fisherman. If you only want free lures thats one thing, but when a company sponsers you they want to be benefitted too.
  12. That pic isn't new, it has been around for a long time. They also had the mount at the Atlanta, Georgia BPS. The record won't be around much more, cause when I get my driving license (17) Dixon Lake is gonna be in trouble. Along with Mac Weakley, Jed Dickerson, and the whole gang. Any one care to join me
  13. No big deal, everyone has done something wrong. I have done some things that are considered illegal.... :-X (mainly hunting, not fishing), put them behind you and move on.
  14. Senko's are amazing if you know how to fish them. I go through so many, I'm debating about starting my own lure company.....maybe not :-/
  15. 6 pounder caught yesterday, I caught it on a 5" green Senko. I'm goin to VA for a couple of weeks in a month or so. Hopefully I'll beat my PB of 8 1/2 lbs when I go down there.
  16. That doesnt apply to me, deer season is in the winter...guess I get the whole year off then ;D
  17. It looked like the guy was using a fly rod. I never saw any swimbaits used in the movie. What type of fish did the guy catch?
  18. Tell him to suck it up and be a man. My little sister would do the same thing, I got tired after awhile of taking fish off the hook for her. So I told her that she can't fish until she does it herself... problem solved.
  19. I don't think that would make much of a difference. I have the same rules for my state. Some pond bass have already spawned where I'm at, but you can't keep fish for another good month.
  20. I always keep pliers with me in case that were to happen. Also if you know it's useless cut the line and the hook will rust out. If the worst happens and the fish dies, better get the skillet ready.
  21. Wow, that was a big fish in that video. That guy got a little pumped after catching it.
  22. Yea, I mainly fish by my self. I would like to start making some videos of outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, snowboarding, and just other things. I was looking at a samsung handsfree camcorder. It is a little pricey($500), but thats when ebay comes in handy. Hopefully I can get videos by the end of the year, I'm in no hurry. The website for the camcorder is http://product.samsung.com/cgi-bin/nabc/campaign/06/sportscam/sportscam.jsp I'm not sure if this is a good investment, but I got some spare cash laying around.
  23. When I fish, I go for size over numbers. Who cares if you catch 10 dinks, but if one catches a bass that is over 5 lbs, in my opinion the 5 pounder proves that that fisherman is better. If one can consistently catch bass 5, 6, or 7 pounds, then they would be able to catch numbers any day. Just my $.02
  24. My uncle has a 9 pounder mounted, your bass lookes like it is slightly bigger. My guess is 9 1/2, if the bass had a bigger girth it would be over 10 maybe 11.
