Isn't the main reason for pegging the weight to take the guesswork out of punching? To ensure the weight drags your bait through the cover to reach fish at a certain depth?

They were tossed onto a little cardboard clearance rack...I couldn't believe it...i was strolling by and saw the normal stuff that you usually find on sale (generic assorted panfish kits) then i spotted the KVD's going for $3 a long with some rapala shad-raps going for $4. I love finding little deals like that.

Snagged a couple KVD 1.5 & 2.5 squarebills for $3 a piece the other day

My only experience with cicada's was when i was living in japan. They were huge and gnarly...this should be interesting lol
