I gotcha yeah I have golfed there before so I know the rules lol you're pretty lucky to have that available! I've got a spot on an old course near my place that someone told me about the other day to try out. All this rain has slowed things down a bit for me. I'm still limited in my spots too bc I'm new to orange park but I'll find my honey hole for the good fall fishing I hope!

AK, not trying to steal your spots but im just curious as to what course youre fishing? Ive asked a few around orange park/oakleaf and they said they didnt want me fishing their ponds. Tried the pond on wells but its a little weedy so im gonna wait for it to cool down and clear out a bit. Been hitting a small pond in my apt complex, getting some decent numbers but all under 15".

Thanks for all the replys gave the 6" senkos a try at the pond in my apt complex and reeled in 2 small ones and 1 nice size. also lost 3. Crazy how good the fishing gets when youre using the right stuff.

thanks for the spots guys. i went to the big pond on wells this evening didnt move a whole lot mainly was right behind the golf shop. fished for about an hour without a nibble. was using a top water pop-r. pretty weedy out there as of now but what did you guys have luck with?? it did look like a promising spot and i will definitely be back.

Looking for some spots to do some bass fishing in Jacksonville fl. Im in the orange park, oakleaf, argle area if you guys could give me any good tips on some ponds or anything over there. Also anyone have a word on how black creek is. Like in the area where Henley road crosses over?? Im from up north so i used to do a lot of stream and small river fishing up there and that area caught my eye.

Hey guys, first time on the site. Relatively new to the Jax area, I live over on Collins Road by the new exit off 295. Im from the north so im used to fishing small/large lakes, streams and rivers. Im mainly into bass fishing and looking to get back into it after about a year break. If you guys have any spots around my area that youd be willing to share id really appreciate it. Im willing to travel a little but looking to keep it under a 30 min trip. Thanks guys!
