  2. Back to the original post............................... I appreciate the offer and would love to split a trip to fish with someone new. I keep my boat on the Big O normally Nov till Apr and travel down from NH twice a month. There are times when I come down by myself and would be happy to fish with someone on this forum (gas money not required). The airboat trip sounds cool too! I have read a lot about Capt Mike and would love to give that a shot. Let me know if anything here interests you. And to the guy who singled you out about your first post, you may want to hold back a similar comment to my post as I promise you I won't be as gracious. I'd much rather read someone's first post and have him post again and again rather than tick him off and be one and done. Great comment by the Mod, leave the moderating to them! Cheers & peace to all!
  3. FYI, I drive my boat down to Clewiston normally in Nov and keep it there till April. I might be interested in giving this a shot. I have fished a lot on the big O. My picture is an 8 lb'r I caught last year. Also in the process of purchasing a second home either on the rim or the lake. Let me know if any of this sounds interesting. Cheers, Lenny
  4. Policemen risk their lives every day when confronting another person. If a cop asked to see me fishing license I would gladly show him a copy and immediately ask if he fishes and have a nice conversation with him. I'm on the water a lot and if I see any type of law enforcement whether it be marine patrol, policeman or whatever, I will always initiate conversation with them. I appreciate every thing they do for us citizens and realize they put themselves in harms way every time they leave for work. And no, I am not in any type of law enforcement position. And by the way, I have never been asked to show a license or have a marine patrol do a safety inspection. Gee, I wonder why?
  5. I am making my first trip up to the CT River in N. NH and going to be fishing for Pike & Walleye. I could use a little assistance as to what would be the best lures to use, best depth to fish, etc. I assume steel leaders are a must for the pike. I normally fish strictly for bass and I don't want to drive all the way up there to throw darts. Thanks in advance for anyone that replies! Cheers
  6. Nice Toad!
  7. One of my favorite spots up here in NH is still frozen.
  8. Just dropped off my Triton to have an 8' Power Pole installed. Can't wait to see how it works. Been on a few Bass boats in FL a few months ago and they worked extremely well.
  9. Hmmm, I've never had an issue with any of the Rapalas and I fish them quite a bit. Caught my biggest fish last year on one and its still in perfect shape.
  10. Is the gate open at Stumpfield? Drove by last Sunday and the gate was locked with ice still on the pond.
  11. I have a friend who lives in Moultonboro and never had too much luck bass fishing till he switched over to plastic crawfish. Fish those rocky areas with crawfish and you should do well.
