  1. Peppergrass maybe?
  2. My dad and I fished last tues and wed in Indian Creek for two days, it yielded 3 dinks. We stayed shallow, 5ft and less. We plan on going back this weekend. It was funny, on the way to the lake, we stopped in Burkeville to gas up. A guy next to us has an ice chest full of 3 pounder's. He tells us exactly what to do, how to doit, and where to go. I tell my dad, "This trip is cursed now". We followed his instructions to the T, and set the hook maybe 8x's in 2 days. My point is I hate "dock talk" . . . it killed us. I was gunna focus on mid depth stuff, and I've never liked Indian Creek. I have a camp there (16years now), and absolutely don't like the area for bassfishing. My old man thinks nothing lives deeper than 10ft. I may keep the Humminbirds off this trip Were you C-rigging BF? Were you on main lake points or secondary points, any main lake stuff yet?
  3. thanks, guess I will finish this half gallon, lol...its my 7 days off....shift work is ok..sometimes.,,i miss tha bend tho...
  4. Mill Creek was clear till you get past the actual buoys. Six Mile was fairly clear from the front 2/3rds.
  5. I fished a total of 14 hrs spanning from Monday till Wednesday evening we stayed in Mill Creek the first day and had one bite. Six Mile...we zeroed. It seemed like optimal conditions...we were very humbled. Threw spinnerbaits, crankbaits, senkos flukes, deep and shallow from main lake points, pockets, to the back of those creeks, inside and outside grass...in the grass, stumps, laydowns and breaks ..only fish came on a T-rig super hog.
  6. Thanks Catt, me and an old friend will be going. He is a T-rig only type of guy, so sounds like a good starting point.
  7. With all this rain and the temperatures falling, do you guys think the fishing will get better or worse? Planning a trip Tuesday through Thursday next week, dont know if im wasting my time or should i go for it...any ideas are welcome.
  8. Seven over 6 lbs!!!!... Awsome day there Catt MY goodness!
  9. What boat lane? Any more info would be appreciated. Hate to here that.
  10. Great job guys sharing info on these lakes guys. I love the Harvey creek area also., my only real success has come in January/February chunking spinnerbaits in the bushes.
  11. Stumbled across this thread and couldn't believe the knowledge, and different ways to approach the Bend. Thanks Catt, and r.i.p. Jack. So I registered outta respect. Took the time to read all 150 pages. Catt my back seat is open for you anytime, just for an on the water sonar/graph school...thanks for all the insight gentlemen. I will post accordingly.
