  3. Haha ya, I have the position of "slave" at the course. Letting me fish there is the least they can do, but theres some bigguns in there for sure, just have to find them more often.
  4. Not really, but I was whackin some fish today. I was fishing a 10" blue fleck powerworm with a 3/16 ounce bullet weight. I caught both of the 4 pounders within 5 minutes of each other deadsticking the worm on beds for like 30 seconds. I caught some other smaller fish but the pics are of two different fourish pounders. Terrible pics like usual but here they are.
  5. I'm looking at getting some subs for my truck and I had a few questions for anybody that knows about wiring and what not. If I just hook up the subs without a new amp, will it work with the factory unit? Or what if I do put in a new amp, will the factory speakers survive? I'm not sure how many ohms they are but I'm guessing 2 and the new amp would be for 4 ohms right? Any help? Or recommendations for the subs? I'm border-line clueless. lol

  7. Its called eutrophication and the algael bloom makes the O2 levels get dangerously low, ultimatley hurting the fish and fishing. From what I know, it will only happen once or twice a year and almost take care of itself. Check this out for more info: http://www.pondowner.com/2006/04/pond-eutrophication.html
  8. Where are you ordering from?? I know Delos had them a couple months ago but I cant find them on thier site anymore and cabelas is selling them for $99 and they arent even in stock.
  9. I just picked up some 10" powerworms and had a few questions for y'all. What size and type hook do you use? How do you retrieve it differently than smaller T-rigged worms? How do you change your hookset technique with the bigger worm? Thanks
  10. Awesome!!! I would have a hard time fishing with it though, its so beautiful... :-*
  11. I think they fixed it and now are advertising with this:

  16. Here is a post I found from the forum at www.indianainfo.net My brother and I fished Monroe Lake down around the dam for about 3-4 hours thursday afternoon. I mostly went to to check out the boat and make sure it was running and everything worked. Water was 42 degrees, very stained, and there was a steady breeze. The lake is up, and the dam road ramp was almost completely submerged (it's not too hard to launch form the road there, though). We saw a lot of loons working the open water, but we couldn't find fish. Fished cranks, spinners, and worms along the main points and around cover, and drifted nightcrawlers and shad as well. No luck. We then gave up and went down to the tailwaters and fished for about another hour until just before dark. The gate was open, the water was up over the stairs, and there were several people fishing down there. Nobody cuaght anything that I could see. At least the sun was shining, and the boat is running, and I wasn't at work. Still searching for that first picture of '08 though. -MAtt Hope that helps!!
  17. Dang! Looks like you could use some water in that pond!! The midwest would be more than happy to loan you some lol. Nice chunker too.

  19. Fluke or jig in the spring, t-rig or senko/ika in the summer, spinnerbait or crankbait in the fall.
  20. You don't! I honestly laughed out loud at these posts. Thanks guys. LOL
  21. Congrats!! I can't seem to catch anything on Rat-L-Traps...
  22. I love it!! I had been using Sensation and now I think the Maxx is a little bit better than that.
  23. I voted for some jigs because when you look at the big names on the professional circuit, all of them are very in tune with a jig. I remember in an old bassmaster that about half of the elite series events were won on some type of bass jig. Also, the jig can produce a year round bite and are very versitile, so I would go with a jig. And if you want check out the super brush version of these jigs: http://www.pjlures.com/liljigs.htm. Really affordable and look great.
  24. The fish in that post probably outnumbers the amount of fish I have ever caught of that size. Congratu-freakin-lations!!! I'd be soooo stoked if I were you.
