  1. Iaconelli's pb is a 14-1 out of Amistad.
  2. Bump, rod length, power? I have heard that heavy rods are better for cranking deeper baits.
  3. Yes I fish from a boat, but I'm only 5'8 too. Not so sure about an 8' rod? Maybe someone else will chime in on that.
  4. Thinking maybe the GLX855CBR, but was wondering if a heavy power would be better?
  5. Pro qualifier if you have to stay under 100, I personally like the revo winch.
  6. That would probably work, but I think the 50 series shimano would be the best route.
  7. I have what I consider my "ultralight" dropshot setup which is a 5'6" light bps tourney special with a symetre 750fl. I also have one of the new IMX rods back home which is the xfast mag medium. 6'10" with a revo premier 20.
  8. Hey, I'm looking for some feedback on these rods, and recommendations. I will primarily be throwing medium-deep diving baits, 95% of what I will be throwing will be dt10s up to dt16s. Which model would you recommend for this application? I'm pretty set on the GLX, but those Cumaras are pretty sweet too. Thanks for the help.
  9. All of mine look exactly like that.
  10. my mistake. I will make sure to look harder. I just came to this forum and posted a new topic, didn't even look down the list. Will check that out. My fault.
  11. Hey guys, I'm looking to pick up a new rod and was wondering what you all like to throw your squares on. I'm pretty loyal to G.Loomis and more particularly the IMX line but open to other suggestions as well. Also, what gear ratio do you like best for your reel?
  12. I just like frogs because they come through weeds really well. I bet a Zara spook or chug bug can't slide over lily pads like a pad crasher. Lol
