I just got the 2013 revo sx and was having the same problem. No matter how much I cranked up the spool tension knob my 1/2 ounce lure kept free falling to the ground causing overruns. And I made sure the magnetic drag was set to 0 during the exercise. So I opened the spool tension knob and noticed that the arrangement of two of the parts was switched when compared to the specification diagram. Specifically, the click spring goes into the knob before the click washer does. In my case these were switched. When I switched these parts back the brake started to work beautifully! And guess whose fault this was? MINE!!! Before I had even started this exercise, I had mistakenly losened the knob to the point that the knob and these two parts fell out. When I put them back I think I screwed up the order. Anyways, my point is to check the arrangenent of your parts and at least rule out this possibility! Thanks!
