  1. They put 40 Tigers in a 44 acre lake....not a good ratio in my mind. will be hard for me to ever see myself trying to catch one of those slimy stinky wanna be alligators...ha!
  2. Fake News? I found a dead 41 inch musky with a 13 inch bass lodged in its mouth so I figure he took one for the team... Thought this was Bass Resource not Musky Fan club?....
  3. State of Nebraska for the last 8-9 years have been introducing Tiger Muskie into all my local Bass lakes and I could not be more upset....they are eating everything and are now over 40 inches long and will hit most Bass lures and baits...and now the Bass are trying to get in their beds and do what they do and here come the Muskie in the shallows having a full on Buffet.... I love fishing but turning Nebraska Bass lakes into Minnesota/Canada Muskie lakes is just wrong.
  4. When you hop off the dock into the boat and put down the trolling motor and nothing...and the wind is blowing 25 mph so I look up in the front to see if my battery connections are tight and I at that point realize the battery is in the back of the truck still....so I grab my trusty collapsible oar and open it up and its broken from not being used or moved in 4 years so here I am paddling with a oar about 2 feet long into a 25mph trying to get back to the dock...well I made it but I could not have been more ticked....wont happen again!
  5. I am not sure you might check there website https://www.costadelmar.com/
  6. Time on the water.... learn from your mistakes and always be aware of your temps conditions and clarity...keeping a fishing journal or just using your cell phone to document success and failure and keep pluggin it wont happen overnight and could take years but oh think how much fun you can have learning!
  7. For me when I get a big one I had to learn not to have fun and play with them and enjoy the ride....If you want to get a picture you need to smoke them into the boat and not get them any and I mean any slack...
  8. Been thru many a pair of cheap ones...and about 3 years ago I spent 200 on a pair of costas and they are still awesome no scratches and never broke...I feel like they are the real deal if you can fit it into your budget.
  9. Great Info thanks everyone
  10. Couple hundred... just have a 14 ft alum with 55 pd trolling no side imaging needed
  11. Any recommendations for a lower to middle end Finder I have used Garmins stuff for the last 5 years and have been thru 3 now looking to try something else just mainly use for structure and depth and temps...lakes I fish are so small don't need GPS
  12. 3-4 hours max...we are in a 14 foot alum boat of small lakes around us here in NE...And for sure there are many times it doesn't work out for the best...I have many times they wont go and I get to go by myself and I used to love it but I really like the company anymore...
  13. Take a kid fishing...it is the future of our sport and gives you time to mentor a kid and teach lifes lessons and have a blast....
  14. USMC Vet in the house!
  15. Try mid to deep divers they will be feeding hard for winter soon...I notice the wacky and plastic bite slows this time of year usually...tight lines to ya!
