wow really, last year we tore them up with the summer craw color.
This year I have yet to catch a bass on any thing other then a fluke.
That is the exact same color I used. I wore out an entire pack without so much as a nibble. T rigged w/ 1/8oz weight on a 4/0 EWG gammy.
There are times and water where one particular color is not suited for our style or choice of presentation. Normally, I would use Summer Craw as a Jig Trailer for flippin or swim jig applications since a quicker motion is often needed to create the reaction strike. And this isn't to say that it doesn't work as is flipped, Tx or C rigged because many folks and lakes "have to have it".
IMO, darker colors like Green Pumpkin, Watermelon/Red, California Craw and Black'n'Blue flake are more appropriate for those presentations. I hold to the theory that with Light and Bright, move it quicker and w/darker colors you can slow'em down.
Hope that helps

We rig ours weightless with a #4/0 gammy hook.
throw it out and let is sink about 10 secs... then twitch twitch, let it sink... etc...
The bass are killing it. most of the time as soon as it hits the water they tag it. it falls horizontal like a senko or a stick bait and it seems to work.
I have also fished it weightless and topwater. chunk it and reel it with a high speed reel and caught some nice fish.
I have tried the space monkey with no luck at all... idk why.
