  1. I was thinking the same thing. Do the lawn or carpet idea.
  2. I'm a KVD Squarebill fan, so I'm looking forward to the 4.0 Magnum.
  3. I know these were just announced (I seen them on the Bassmaster article of the new baits to be shown at iCast) but I swear these have been on the Cabelas website for a while. It does say "new" but I know I seen them on the site months ago. http://www.cabelas.com/product/STRIKE-KING-UNPAINTED-CLEAR-HARDBAITS/2414669.uts?searchPath=%2Fbrowse.cmd%3FcategoryId%3D734095080%26CQ_search%3Dstrike%2Bking%26CQ_ref%3D~c1-Fishing~c2-Hard%2BBaits EDIT: The Bass article says 16 different models, the link above has 10. Maybe they are just adding to those?
  4. Except not all states offer a lifetime license. I have never been checked. But I always have it with me anyways.
  5. Just got a new Bass Pro ad in the mail for their Go Outdoors event and sale. They have the double down plopper in there. Checked the website and it's still not on there.
  6. This is just a restructuring of the company by the new owners, Camping World. They purchased basically everything except the inventory. The inventory was bought by a liquidation company, this is their sale, not Ganders. Liquidation will run until a certain date (I have heard end of August) or until inventory runs out. The stores will then close and the stores that "make the cut" will eventually reopen with new inventory, same type of selection. So yes technically all of the stores are closing, but some will be reopened.
  7. They are all liquidating due to the bankruptcy. Not all stores are closing. Ours is one that will remain open.
  8. I should add that probably 90-95% of the things I are also used by my dad. Buying for 2 people, I'd say I do pretty good each year with how much I buy.
  9. Getting started? Man it starts once ice is gone lol. Sadly though I just got this boot off of my broken foot so I haven't been out yet. For me, there is no cure to binge spending. I stop when I feel like I have everything for the year and a few extras. I've been buying lures, rods, and reels, and then things for the boat. It's an addiction, but it's a fun one.
  10. Looks interesting. Let us know what you think once you get a chance to use it. I'd give it a try if they ever get it back up on the site.
  11. Black and Blue, Greens, and anything with Brown.
  12. 5 inch. More bites and it catches all sizes.
  13. I have been wearing Bass Pro XPS Bluefin polarized sunglasses for the last 3 years. They are pretty good for the price. I think I paid $18 for them at the spring classic sale, but they are only around $25 regular price.
  14. KVD 1.5 and 2.5 in Chart./black back and Sexy Sunfish. I do have them in other colors, but these two produce the best for me.
  15. 5 inch Yamamoto Senko in Baby Bass Berkley Power Worm Rage Structure Bug Strike King Half Shell Rage Swimmer
