Water is dropping for sure. My friend lost his lower unit down south 200 yards offshore of east wall today. I had difficulty jumping up in the trails in grassy Sunday. As the lake drops, the fish start chewin
I have an old cronarch 50mg and i just recently had a guy try to fix it. he said that shimano no longer makes the gears for that reel. my question is, does any have those gears for sale? does anyone know of some who has the gears and can fix this reel? or should i just toss the thing and forget about it? thanks in advance
bass will definitely eat them. snook will destroy them! i call them strawberry daiquiris. they usually don't last long when you drop them near some snook.
Does anyone have any experience in a total re-wire of a ranger boat? Can i purchase the complete harness from ranger? Is this a difficult job? How much should I expect to pay if I wanted a mechanic to do it? Thanking you in advance for any help.

not sure how they are going to solve the problem, but i wish they would work together and come up with a solution that serves all.
fished the north end friday and the bfl on saturday. tough fishing. had 14 pounds in the bfl and it was work. went south sunday and fished the king of the glades first round and had close to 16 pounds. had two five pounders and three 2 pounders. we caught well over 30 fish in south bay, but they were all small. even though i hate throwing them, senkos wore them out. hope this helps
you should have went west and fished the pipes that go under the alley. smashed them there a week ago. we had 21 pounds and we released a mess of 3 pounders.
great job mike whacking 28 pounds at holiday. one of our good friends lost his wife in a diving accident, and this tournament was in honor of her. mike and leo not only won, but they gave their winnings back to wayne. class act all the way! rumor has it, mike caught them all. right on!
don't go to stick marsh. hasn't been the same since the hurricane. most of the fish are being caught at the spillway. what fun is that? go to lake o and catch a bunch with the possibilty of a toad.
the lake is doing its summer thing. catch a toad and fill your bag with some decent fish. had 18 pounds on sunday at slims tourney and finished 3rd. 18.7 beat us for 2nd and the winner had 28 pounds. same guy had 28 pounds last weekend as well. they're there, jus gotta find 'em.
don't know if anyone caught it, but russ lane was boating a giant in the ttbc on tv and his reel was sporting a hawg tech handle. not 100% sure if it was a hawg tech but i believe it was.
Great job Mike. Mike and I had 23 pounds. We lost 2 giants that would have put us close to 30, but we knew going in that 32+ was going to win it. We were hoping the lake was drawn, because that would have eliminated half the field. You are right about holiday, it is an amzing fishery.
good luck on the test. after 15 years of teaching elementary school, i'm out. i'm buying a pool route and doubling my salary with only having to work 3 days. i love teaching, but the politics/behavior/common core/racism/disrespect have started to jade me. i wish you lots of success and happiness in the teaching profession.
