    I like using a spinning set up for pitching/flipping ponds while bank fishing. Do it pretty similar to he above video. Go for it, you'll like it.

    It really does cast good. Went to the pond real quick and cast to other side "which is approx. 55yds" like a breeze.

    They are on clearance for 49.88 for anyone interested. Picked one up to use for catfish. There wasn't a drop of oil or grease anywhere. Lubed it up with some hot sauce. Reel is quiet and throws a mile. Loaded it up with some 50# PP. Now if I can only get the catfish to bite.
