  1. They may work ok. make sure they are spined correctly like your aixs arrows and the same length. Get some grass catchers and put on them. It will add approx. 3-4 grains to your arrow but you won't lose them. I shoot the tree rats around here with some exspensive Goldtips and the grass catchers save your arrows from burying in the grass and weeds.
  2. For the most part NO it does not matter.
  3. Forgot to mention if you choose another arrow for the squirrels etc. don't forget to practice with your axis arrows also for deer etc.
  4. Yes different shafts will fly different and tune different. What is your bows set poundage and raw length. This is was you want to go by to find the correct spined arrow for your set up. The cheaper walmart arrows are rejects from the manufacturers. (so I was told). It is ok to go a little stiffer than listed but not weaker. Here is a link to a chart you can go by. Also google the arrows your looking at and get their chart. http://www.eastonarchery.com/selection-charts
  5. Another vote for a Lews Superduty.
  6. Were these ponds near the college or nearby parks ? Possibly could have been carp.
  7. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CFPage?storeId=10151&catalogId=10051&appID=94&storeID=94 going to be off Gatlin Blvd. A friend was there today and saw the sign. Could be open in August or September.
  8. Awesome catch. Really nice colors.
  9. Congrats.
  10. Raider, for size comparison could you post some pictures of you holding the .50 and the .338 ?
  11. As others have stated a Berkley Lightning rod will work great for you in either spinning or casting.
  12. Johnson gold or silver spoon with a grub for a trailer.
  13. .270, .223 and a .22 magnum. But I prefer my Goldtips with a 100gr Grizz Trick.
  14. Sebastian Inlet is the place to be when the bite is on.
  15. Pretty much the same thing. I'll use bream or bluegills for bait,

  17. Snook, I read something yesterday that stated it was illegal to park on the side of the road along the turnpike unless you are broke down or have an emergencie. Nothing says it is illegal to fish the waters that I can find. I asked the troopers along the St.Lucie and Indian River county sections and got the okay. He just said to pay the tolls. This was approx. 4-5 yes ago.
