  1. Yeah, it's pretty shameless. I can't watch Roland anymore.
  2. I agree with this. I would never buy them personally as I have my own preferences. If I were you I'd get another stick from the brand you like. If you want to try one out and see if you like them, it's your money. Feel free to try a Favorite rod. You will only get other opinions of why they like'm or why they don't. In the end it is totally up to you on you like your fishing equipment performs for you.
  3. Yes it can be annoying to replace the leader. I use a leader moreso because it saves me money. I'm surprised about the Trilene but I use XT 10lb and don't usually have an issue. I guess maybe the 12lb has issues?
  4. I love braid. What does that mean? Am I going to hell?
  5. I never had any issues with my Mets for moving baits. However I never used any of my Mets for cranking.
  6. 1. Jerkbait 2. Dropshot Zoom Worm 3. Jig
  7. Totally Agree! Maybe you should keep a record so you can tell that young co-worker they still catch fish.
  8. Do a forum search. There is a lot of information around here. In general they seem to be fine from the reviews.
  9. I own both, for me I don't see a significant distance difference.
  10. For 2018, my favorite bc reel was my Chronarch MGL HG. For spinning reels it was my Stradic 2500 FJ. Even though I have higher end reels, these two get the nod most of the time and why they are on my two most used rods.
  11. Nice! I have two Gen 1 Cumara's and I will never let them go. Ever.
  12. I agree love his jigs.
  13. MH always a good multipurpose rod. If it was in my arsenal, I would probably say the same as others. Jig and worm rod and stay in the middle of the weight range.
  14. I own a Stradic FJ 1000 size and I love it. Frankly don't see the issue between my 1000 and 2500 sized reels. Mine is on my finesse Medium Light drop shot rod most of the time.
  15. This isn`t for anglers only. All recreational water sports. Seadoo people are the worst! It`s like their clueless that coming up speeding next to me in my kayak, that they did not cause a potential dangerous situations with their wake.
  16. Beautiful. That is why I haven`t gotten one yet. My wife would kill me in general to pay that much for a reel. My Conquest reel was a one shot deal. Maybe in 4-5 years I can land an Antares.
  17. As a swimbait, chatterbait trailer, texas rigged, jig trailer and now that I bought a few packs of baby menaces I will try and drop shot them.
  18. I don't frog fish much easier, however I experience the same 1 or 2 a summer.
  19. While I agree in general but doesn't apply for us with toothy critters! I've lost hard baits and soft baits equally last year because of those d**n snot rockets. I won't use a steel or wire leader either because I find (maybe mental) but I have no confidence in catching fish if I do.
  20. I found that the major brand name braids are fine. Really no difference in my opinion, I really think it's all in the head for everyone or if they are biased. ? If we are talking about Floro, copoly and Mono, I do feel like there are differences. Like I will never fish Vanish again.
  21. I hear nothing but good things about the SLX, so I'm sure you will be happy and I'm glad Shimano listened to the market. Although I probably won't get one myself as I'm biased towards the Curados and Chronarchs.
  22. Nice! They look great. The only reason I don't get these exotic and usually expensive lures is because of the toothy critters.
