Everytime I've gone out on Lake Michigan , I don't catch anything. I've tried everything I have .. Plastics, jigs, spinners, cranks , etc. I'm not sure if it matters but I'm fishing out of the portage lakefront walk. Other people were catching things but I can't even get a bite. Help?
Thanks!
I recently got back into fishing after 6 months of giving up . But theres this lake 10 minutes away from me with nice sized bluegill as weel as smallies and an occasional large mouth . Well , I need a rod for catching bluegills and crappie too. Any recommendations? My guess would be an UL but im not sure. Also , what are a few of your top baits for catching Bluegills.. Thanks!
Well , the water all depends. It can be somewhat clear then Murky ..I'm not sure what the forge is , I haven't really checked. But I fish Lake Michigan majority of the time.
I'll be trying both. The ascend D10 and D10 SOT. my local bass pro has a small pond I believe that they let you test them in. I just don't want to capsize in the SOT
I have two 7 year olds I take as well as a 9 year old. I'm trying to teach them how to fish as well to enjoy the sport. What are some sure fire baits or lures?
The only people I fish with are my little siblings or family that never fished. What lures/baits should I setup for them. Nothing that cost $10 or is a pain to mess with. What about line choice as well.i don't want line that need to be changed after every outing or is crazy exspensive as well.. Thanks!
Lipless cranks. Yup. While some of you guys say jigs or spinnerbaits. I have about 5 jigs and 5 spinnerbaits. But around 20 lipless cranks. And I've only been fishing since April. And another thing is I've gotten hung up about 15+ so... Add 20 more lipless cranks. Lol
