    Learn everything you can with that set-up for the rest of the year. Learn the feel of different lures and presentations. Medium power may be light for pike, but I bet you'll get some. Keep us posted....

    Its tough all over right now. Don't get discouraged. I used to get mad this time of year. Now I just enjoy the time outdoors, whether I get 1 or 10. Fish slower right now. This is the hardest time of the year. You'll get 'em!

    I have honestly never swung a bass into the boat. Always lip it or belly cradle it. But watching the tournaments on TV, you would think that swinging 'em in is the only way!

    G & G Bait Company, out of Indiana, hand makes each of their spinnerbaits to your specifications. Priced right and work great. The only ones that I'll use now.

    I think you answered your own question. Do everything that you mentioned until the fish let you know. It can be frustrating, but once you dial it in, its go time. Good luck
