  1. Enjoying the peace of the outdoors....eagles, deer, even the weather while being outside. Those windy rainy days when your the only one out there and the fish are biting are amazing. Thanking the good Lord for each and every one. It sure beats busy streets and stores and other competitive sports where there are so many experts and the internal temp rises with each comment. 2. Ohio's qb did good....will be interesting to see next year too.
  3. Have had guide wear for probably 15 years and have been really happy. But it did start to loose it's waterproofness. Still good but not great. Gave suit to a fishing partner and he's going to try that stuff from Rustoleum and see if he can get a few more years from it. Think it's called "Neverwet"
  4. No superstitions....but I thank the good Lord for each day he gives me....especially ones on the water
  5. Wow....Seattle is first in so many many area's. Was a great game. Look forward to the matchup next week....I believe they're in it to win it. Was nice to not see a lot of play acting during the game. Looking forward to the Green bay game.

  12. Not sure what I just had but it wasn't a pretty 24 hours. There are some foods I won't be eating for a while though!!! But wife had them too and she was fine? Glad it's gone....whew. On a side note we take some Neocitrin from Canada and it works pretty good for achy stuffy stuff. Get well all.
  13. Haven't been there for a number of years but I loved throwing tubes that time of year around docks. Flipping around tules was good too. I preferred the west end of the lake by far. Have fun
  14. Do love living south. Fishing has been amazing here in east Tenn. Was out a couple days ago and nailed the perch, white bass and yellow bass. Even got some LMB's. Smallies have been good .... very good.
  15. Pucker factor right up there when we had to take waves at an angle on the upper Columbia River as when you hit them straight on you felt like you were going to flip backwards.
  16. Ended the year catching a bunch of fish and started the year going out with the wife for dinner. (hadn't done this in years) Also spent some time reminiscing about our daughter we lost this year and had some wet eye's.
  17. I like all types....David Baldacci is a great author and have read almost all of his. One of my favorites by L'Lamour is the Last of the Breed . An amazing book on survival across Russia after being shot down....amazing.
  18. Tie a lot of small hair for smallies in 1/16 and 1/8. No trailer needed. 7 foot lighter action rod with a Diawa 1300 SS. Ten pound yellow PP and a six pound leader........it's money
