Neighbor down the street uses a single wire electric fence just up off the ground. From what I understand as long as you keep it from grounding out it is VERY discouraging to lil critters. Deer don't like it either....we will see. Going to try...from what he says it's pretty low cost.
Looks good. Been building raised beds are my house as only place to grow is on a side hill so it's been challenging. Will add every year. Love a garden. Last year planted blueberry's and raspberry's and really looking forward to those. Greens are going in quick...am going to have to look into that clipping the tomatoes...thanks.
If you have to justify things now it will probably get worse later. If your living your life to please her....well that's your choice. If your living lives to please each other and give each other 100% well that's a different road too and your fortunate. I've got 43 years and it's been a lot of give and take and wouldn't of had it any other way....in fishing terms I got a keeper. She doesn't fish.....she REALLY doesn't fish but does other stuff. I REALLY love to fish and she appreciates that I have this passion.
Good Luck
Many fishermen....many good ideas. Myself I use a double uni and it has been very reliable. I also use PP almost exclusively with a Silver Thread fluro leaders. Both casting and spinning rods have braid. If I use 20 # leaders I generally use 30 plus in the braid. for six through 12 I usually am using ten to fifteen braid. I've stuck with the PP as some braids just don't seem to match up with the double uni for me. And I like to keep it simple and successful.
Tight Lines
Was checked out west one time (of many) and the officer said he liked bass fishermen for the most part as they had it all together for the most part in their boats.
Oh My....I took it as he was doing his job to the fullest with common courtesy thrown in. Plus he had a personality. He may have signed on for the job but it shows he loves his job and knows how to carry it out. So many just work for a check and their attitude shows it.
I had posted this on a local site but had to mention it here as it was definitely a feel good moment.
I went to a local lake here in east Tennessee and was at the top of the ramp looking down and saw that both lanes were full. One boat was definitely taking there time and the other was an officer getting ready to patrol. Well all of a sudden he comes up the ramp with his boat in tow. I had to ask him what's up and he said he was doing a couple little things to the boat and that he didn't want to tie up the ramp....and didn't like it when others did. Right after I launched he backed back down and launched.....awesome but gets better.
When I came back in the afternoon he was at the ramp and asked how I did. Said I had caught a few but let them all go....he smiles and says "I let them all go today too".
Awesome
Like to use six in winter when water is clear and relatively clear of wood. (due to drawdowns) Have caught many fish bass, steelhead and salmon on four also but quit when I felt it was taking to long to get the fish in. Have heard its not good to play a fish to long...so with six I feel you can horse them a bit better. Love ten pound PP and six Silver thread.
Have owned many rods....Loomis, Lamiglas, Fenwick, Shimano, and lately a Ghost. Has caught many...many smallies...love the lightness and power. Oh...have in my over fifty years of fishing managed to break em all at least once for some reason or another!
I guess you live there because .....hmmmm....because your close to family, like ice fishing, you like to give your arm and wrist a long break, you don't like loosing much tackle!
Good luck this spring.
