  1. Oh Gosh....you do need to go fishing and maybe just watch a bobber
  2. Love the tough coarse...FOX...well they need work. Like the smiles coming from TIger....not sure if he's done or not but his track record shows he's been there.
  3. I love a good restaurant....but they are sooooo very rare. Both in food quality and service. So many things would like to say but you all have hit the nail on the head pretty good. I do know I would be totally afraid to not ask the good Lord to bless the food for us when we do go out!!
  4. Well since this is a bass fishing site for the most part you may not get many hits. Personally I would rather chase the smallies on the Columbia. Check in Fisherman's Marine or Sportsman's Warehouse in Oregon City area. There's some good knowledge in those stores that may help you on your quest.
  5. God....Family...Fishing. Yup...works for me
  6. Sounds like some west coasters moved up there....they have the same mentality towards warm water fisheries!!!
  7. Really didn't find the heat/humidity any worse than some days in Tennessee. Like SirSnookalot sad the offshore breezes are awesome .... ya fish early and late and nap in middle of day or swim or both. Those gnats have huge teeth though. Soooo much area down there to explore....so pretty.
  8. Got to spend some time last week down below the Ft Meyers area. Both out and sea and on the beach. Truly amazing. Went out to the clear water in the boat (bout 18 miles) and got cobia, cuda, snapper...it was non stop action...amazing. And walking the beach caught snook and several other species I've never caught but seen on TV. There's one little fish called a skipjack I believe that finned me and dannnnng...stung like a bee for a couple hours!! Saw lots of fish and other stuff cruising the beach too. Would like to do it again. Tight Lines
  9. Very nice...mine is doing well also. Tomatoes are slow but we haven't had that much warm weather
  10. Lifted.....have felt your pain...may our Lord give you and yours some peace.
  11. Glad your day turned better
  12. Did your wife maybe try calling it in?
  13. Advertisement's in magazines are what keep it going ... just like this site. Magazines have their place ... just like this site does. There's lots of good ones
  14. Thanks for making that call
  15. I recently just received some bug spray with Picidirin (early..spelling may be a little off). Supposed to be better for you than deet. Doesn't eat cloths or plastics so this is good. We will see.
  16. Interesting....have used an EWG for years...may have to try that newer one Tks
  17. I'm just going to put my head down and walk away......far far away. Don't want to be around what your going to attract!!
  18. Days on the water are gifts we sometimes take for granted
  19. Docks are good....sometimes very good
  20. I use 15# power pro on a small shimano casting reel. Hardly any troubles. No more than I would have with mono or fluro. I do use a leader too.....12#. Love the fact I don't have to respool line as often.
  21. Wow....that's awesome
  22. Dry Creek
  23. Out west when I used to fish for salmon/trout/steelhead I used to wade and climb out of areas that were not pretty. Doing a moon walk in chest waders when your not sure what's down stream of ya is not fun. Climbing out of canyons where I had to throw my rod ahead of me and catch it a few times while it slid past so I could try again. Good thing was wearing tennis shoes then. When I did make it out through the devils club and hit the road I freaked out this lady driving....guess I looked pretty bad!! Going fishing in the snow when your the only one on the river due to conditions....and the list goes on. Nice to be bass fishing now and not do that silly stuff..........
  24. My kids....awesome...awesome. One is now in heaven. And the other is moving to Tennessee and being around the grand kids. Definitely a gift from above.
