  1. Tubes are awesome
  2. Good ol Senko's.......ugh. Have caught tons of smallies on a three incher drop shotted over the years and many on a round head 1/8 head over the years....but it takes a rare day to dead stick a Senko let alone whacky rig it. BUT....good job to ya......tight lines
  3. See less people on the water...enjoy the soon approaching fall colors...try different techniques...fish places that have to many people now. Enjoy what our Great Lord has created. Tight Lines
  4. Maybe pine cones...."He could be Tuff"
  5. Hmmmmm you may want to make it more realistic by having people tying up the boat ramps loading picnic baskets. Or maybe weather condition could move in while on the lake for a tourney or or maybe even a jet ski going between you and the bank. (as if this ever happens) How bout casting into a hornets nest right over a honey hole....or spearing a big wave while going to another spot and only having one rod left. Anyway....good luck.
  6. Ahhhhhhh....football season. Fall is coming .... days are getting shorter and the nights are cooler along with the days. The fish start biting better...less people on the water. Sorry you were talking about football.
  7. My choices now involve reading labels on food products. No wheat or processed sugar for the most part. Not an easy road but a life changer. As far as "TP" well over the top of course.
  8. I would say everyone's in the system but word of mouth if your a good worker is most important. So many lazy one's out there...if you can give it 110% everyday and have a personality...well... you should do good. Just my two cents
  9. Was a good ending for a reality show
  10. Yup..that's what I listened too to. Also liked the Grass Roots.
  11. What a weekend!!
  12. Hmmm...noticed prices going down in this area!
  13. Glad things are working
  14. Still have all the old Bass West magazines (when they first started). Was a great magazine...now I enjoy FLW. Mama says I need to get rid of em.
  15. Feel your pain...this has been the year of taking teeth for me too. Have had five...yes five pulled and also just had an abbesses too. The meds should help a lot. (takes about two days) Had one so bad earlier this year had to go to dentist and have pulled before getting on plane. Didn't have time for meds as was leaving next day for Oregon. The pain killers did not work while pulling out the tooth as it had something to do with the infection neutralizing the pain killing meds!!! Oh my gosh....having a tooth pulled without pain killers and infected was a wild ride to say the least. Good luck
  16. At 65 my goal is to keep fishing and try and keep up with the grand kids.....whew!!!
  17. Wow....mine was just over ten. Have a fear and dislike of needles just like I don't care for snakes so I have to try and be good. It's kind of a pain.....I so CRAVE a big maple bar but want to get things in check. It's still amazing to me how some foods just spike your levels soooo much. Not sure how much nuts and berries I can take!!
  18. Hope things go good for ya. I've got a lot...a lot to learn. Exercise does help too that's for sure. My problem started when I was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis. They blamed it on my diet. Since I was fortunate to make it through it after many months of #@!$ and then they took my gall bladder among other surgeries they said it was just a matter of time. Can't begin to tell you all the things this body has gone through with that ride. But everyday is a gift and I'm so glad I have fishing .... Tight Lines to you and good luck.
  19. Doctor gave me three months to get my numbers down for diabetes. So have been poking myself to check blood several times a day to learn more about my body. It has been a wow factor to say the least. Numbers are good now during the day but in morning after a fast they are higher due to the fact I believe that I munch so much in the evenings. Anyway...all of us are different to say the least...for me...I'm going wheat free and trying to eliminate most processed sugar. At 65 I do not want to start meds or needles if I don't have too.
  20. Believe you hit the nail on the head pretty close...I too was just diagnosed with diabetic's. Doc gave me three months to get numbers down. Have watched almost every day what I'm eating and how it affects my blood numbers....amazing. I have been doing the "Wheat Belly" eating plan....has brought the numbers down drastically...Just read the "Wheat Belly cookbook" and its an eye opener. Do fudge a bit and the numbers show it!! Good Luck
  21. Keeping your word is truly an ol fashioned value.....awesome
  22. Don't get tired of breathing either....so guess I'll keep at em both
  23. Very nice.....I've learned this much more and am more thankful since the loss of our daughter to cancer. Helps me to be more grateful and also understand better what others have gone or are going through. Today is a gift and a chance for many things.
