Going to be interesting...have a tourney Saturday on Cherokee!!! Side note....being from the west coast I remember the rain and gloom …..ewwwwwwww. Believe east Tennessee receives on average about ten more inches than Northern Oregon according to my friend out there.

Lifted.....been there....it's rough. One day at a time is all we can do. My father and I made a trip before he went through a ton of $#@!. So glad we spent some time....we hardly ever had time together. Love the above about just sitting in a chair looking at nature and watching a good ol red and white....sharing quiet and stories. Remember driving from Oregon to Amarillo many years ago for an Anglers Choice Championship in Texas. The song entered my head when I passed their town sign. A few seconds later I hit black ice and was going down the freeway sideways with the boat. Do not like that feeling when you can see the boat out the side window instead of the rearview. Didn't even think of ice....everyone was just flying by me!!!

I can relate....the ol mind just doesn't seem to realize what the body can't take as well any more.

Love my Shimano's and have given me years of use....years. Daiwa 1300SS spinning amazing. Now into year two with a couple KastKing Assassin's….hmmmmmm….loving them so far.

First story that comes to mind was that in my younger more desperate days to get on the water with buddy's we would do anything. There was a big pond with an old boat that had no back to it. It was about a 12 footer and we found that if we sat near the front and didn't move much the back would stay out of the water and with one of us paddling in front we could fish off shore....we caught fish....was great.

Have caught LMB's pulling an A-rig off the ice and letting it settle. Was an awesome day...other days I go when it's beautiful I stink things up. Guess that's why I fish a lot so that I hopefully have more good days!!

Thank you….some of these thoughts I mentioned and it's nice to not be the only one who thinks this way. We are going to drop an Aqua view down and see....with the infer red we may be able to settle this story. Thanks againb

This came up today between me and an older gentleman. He says when you have muddy water on a reservoir that it’s only on the surface. It doesn’t go all the way down. He says studies prove it. I disagree. Especially now with all this rain. Experts please step forward thanks

Not enough...………...

Remember in the younger years of marriage things were very tough....Fridays were go out to dinner night. Lots of times it was turn in the bottles for a refund and go to taco bell or pizza. (kids loved pizza) Fridays were our night as life was full off stress. Weekends were in the Volkswagen camper buss and an hour down the road for an overnighter. Kids loved the outdoors and this kept us all very close. One of the big reasons we moved to Tennessee was to be with our kids and grandkids. We've always had a respect for each others lives and for the most part have given 100% to each other. Always smooth.....NOT....but after 45 years we're still working on it!

Hmmmm...started fishing in a bucket when Grandma was washing the car. Then rode a bike everywhere as I got older and chased anything that swam. Was sitting on a dock one day with some friends perch jerkin and some sparkly boats racing around the lake. (many years ago) We asked the owner of the campground what was going on....A bass tourney she says....I wanna do that I say to my friends. Been downhill ever since....BASS and bass fishing has taken me all over the US. My wife has been awesome and I have been blessed....Tight Lines

Our actions speak louder than words.....my only complaint for the most part about Yaks is and boats do this too they are just bigger is "NO LIGHTS". And....rude and #@!$ people suck where ever they appear. Sorry....worlds getting smaller and we need to get along and share.
