  1. So Sweet
  2. In ponds I used to quiver a small rapala on the surface and then pause it and then little quivers again. Used to be deadly. Just sayin
  3. Yup
  4. Dang!!!
  5. Maybe try getting on your knee's and doing a sidearm cast....also maybe a smaller bait so that it doesn't cast as big a shadow. Good luck
  6. I like a lil luck...especially when fishin!!!
  7. Don't like to mess with bait....period. Messy, stinky, takes more time to get and take care of. Artificials have come a lonnnnnng way.
  8. There was a couple hicups for sure in the first half for sure....was the first game though. Second half GB had a good run but Seattle was pretty quick to turn that around...they will be fun to watch.
  9. Did I miss it or hasn't any kudo's been said for Seattle last night.....Was an AWESOME game....sure hope they stay healthy. Sure fun to watch them dominate.
  10. Love it.....on all spinning reels right now with a fluro leader. Any reel I use a leader I will use the yellow....I'm a line watcher and feeler. Tight Lines
  11. Wow
  12. Hope your day turned better
  13. Swimbaits and flukes I like to let the rod load up and then swing. Missing a bunch....could be gills...try some smelly jelly.
  14. Remember one time many years ago on the upper Willamette in Oregon. This guy kept wanting me to take him fishing. So I did...well it was a cold day in the fall and my hands were killing me. Was using football jigs if I remember right and I had given him one of mine. I missed the first three or four and this guy would cast right over my head and then laugh!!! Well boat control can be everything .... especially when fishing the middle of river. Score....him 7 fish...and believe I had over eighty. Not more trips if I might add.
  15. Silver Thread...have used for years...satisfied with line and price
  16. Along with the CRUSH
  17. People in the back of the boat kind of have to pay attenion to whats going on in the front and too if boater is too quick for them they may have to find another boater or get a boat. I have seen the back on numerous occasions catch more fish....but like I mentioned the back has to be a bit more alert and cast forwards a bit more to allow for more bait time in the water. You almost have to adjust yourself to their style...unless maybe a club tourney and they may pause if you mentioned you had a bite. Good Luck
  18. For me that noise can be the worm. I had the privalige to talk with a reel repair person from Shimano at our store one day and he told me to use a mixture of oil and grease (shimano)(soupy) on the worm gear but to keep it VERY LIGHT. On all the other easy to reach bearings use ONE small drop of oil.
  19. With all the rods on the deck it's usually a feelin when I pull up to the place I want to start. So many choices...so little time
  20. Dang....unless there was a lot of structure around I would have trusted my drag (assuming you have a relieable reel). It's definitly an exciting few short minutes usually for a LMB fight. Also ... you got a long time ahead of yourself for more of these memorys of these exciting moments. (both good and bad) P.S. Yup have lost some dandys G-Luck
