  1. ahhhh grizzzin you dirty basted! hahaha
  2. Thanks Glenn good stuff right there!
  3. ok fellas, I am not 100% sure on what to do when a bass swallows the hook. I recently pulled a nice bass out and it swallowed my hook and I just cut the line completely off leaving the hook not wanting to harm the bass, in the past if the bottom part of the hook was exposed I would cut the line and thread the hook out. Any suggestions? Should I leave the hook or should I cut the line and thread the hook out if I can?
  4. nice guys! ill def have to check out those ponds this spring! anyone been out since the lakes and ponds thawed? I just caught my first 2 bass of the year a few days ago. landed a 2 lb on the first cast and a 2 1/2 on my swing jig!
  5. thanks for the input guys, Im still getting some top water bites on my frog! caught a 3 1/2 on the frog yesterday just inches from the bank, kinda surprised me but I guess these blue bird days are keeping that surface temp up and the bass shallow.
  6. I was curios how late in fall will you continue to throw top water. its been real hit or miss for me lately, weather has been shifting and its getting down into the 30s at night high 40s low 50s during the day. Im waiting for mid day usually before I head out to let the waters warm up, it seems they are hitting top water mid day and dies off in the late afternoon. I guess I need to put my frog down and start throwing jigs!
  7. Thanks for the info guys, it def took a lot of searching to find some decent spots. for everyone who thinks there aren't big bass in CO is just a fool. Ive caught multiple 3 pounders and pulled a 4.2 out last week, and have missed bigger! I've only been here for 3 months and can't wait to see what other fisheries I can find! trying to upload the picture of my 4 pounder but it says my file is too big.
  8. Nice! I just moved out here living right outside of boulder, what places have you been fishing I've been looking for a good place to fish
  9. Just recently moved right outside of Denver from Va and am looking for some good spots for bass fishing. I also have a kayak that I'm trying to take out, if anyone has any good info that would be much appreciated.
  10. Haha it def happened! It won't upload says the file size is too big, it will only allow me to upload pics of 150k or less
  11. Hey guys just wanted to give a little update, I did some bank fishing on the res above bull run marina last Friday and killed it! The smallies were def out! Caught 5 total, my 2 fatties of the day were 4 and 5+ pounder! They were hitting my crankbait, small white grubs, and my buddy was killing it with his hudd minnow. Going back this weekend hope they are still there!
