  1. pfff... my wal mart didnt have anything on sale, so I ended up buying $130 worth of stuff anyways! Thats almost like $6 lol
  2. shweet!
  3. there is no facepalm icon?! dont care, dont care, dont care. tell everyone. Im sure they didnt know it was there. those ponds are really hidden. Im happy its in the open now. Read slowly.. maybe a few times. You said keep it a secret, then posted it.... lame. I just put a picture of exactly what ya said, with a red oval around it, then you posted it. Said keep it a secret, posted it, lame . secret, post, lame. Still dont care, even right now if you tell anyone, or who knows, or if 800 post were made about it. I dont care. We exchanged places, you gave me one super obvious one, I continued on being nice NOT CARING, but you told me dont tell anyone and then posted it. Why even PM me about it, you could have just made your thread, and asked for more places to fish, and a bunch of people would have responded. There was more motive to it. If I mesage a random guy on here and say hey blah blah exchanged info blah blah.. try this lure, its caught me lots of fish, its my secret dont tell anyone, then went into the tackle section and said hey everyone this is my best lure, it caught me a bass 2 lbs smaller than Im claiming!!!!! that guy I messaged would probably be like "I don't understand did he message me that for then?!" Has the big crayon picture been seen yet? I hope so because Im done with this conversation.
  4. The kit shown on that motor, camera, head mount, and stick on bracket tabs (which stuck to my bike @ 170mph) I got at best buy for like $170. Its not the 1080 one, but I had it before I crashed and broke it, and for $130 difference, its not much better. The cheaper one is almost as clear, still hd. Im not sure if they sell the chest mount setup there or not. I like these over alot of other action cameras bc the housing is waterproof to a certain point, and the anti-shock works great! The mnovement in that video was because I just had it sitting out of case on a rounded edge tacklebox in the wind.
  5. uh.. Im not mad, I could care less. Post everything I said if you wish. Just stating exactly what it seemed to me, and said I thought that was lame. Thats all.
  6. Wow, alot of peolple do the same. Im suprized not more Lh retrieve reels are available. Before i began fishing last year, I had no idea there even was one or the other. Even the upside down pushbutton reels like a caster was lh retrieve, right hand cast and button. Thats all I ever knew existed till last year lol. Its just whats learned that makes it right for ya.

  8. Yea makes sense. I dont know how some of you guys do both, but Im sure it has some advantage. I cant underhand roll to my right well.. only straight to left. Im sure having the ability to do both has some advantage, but its like writing or hitting a baseball to me trying to cast or thumb a right hand caster. At least its not as uncommon as I thought.
  9. All my childhood I used spinners, rod in right, reel left. When I just began bass fishing again doing research seen baitcasters were a popular reel for bass fishing, so I got one. I felt a few at the store and never felt comfortable using a right hand rod, even though Im right handed. Having been used to always holding the rod in my right hand and reeling with the left I got a lefty reel, and just got my 4th one tonight since fall of last year lol. Just made me wonder how many others do that, since I never see it on tv or hear about it because they arent around often as I would think because o situations like this outside of regularly left handed people.
  10. Very nice! Good to see pretty much everyone down here had a good day today.
  11. BTW..thats cool you ask me for a bunch of spots to exchange for your "secret spot" and tell me this place which is probably one of the the most obvious bodies of water to everyone, tell me not to tell anyone, then post it up here for a billion people to see. Kind of lame you tried to sucker some secrets out of me like that, but ya didnt actually get any. Btw the pb of yours isnt 8lbs, Just sayin. Good luck to ya, and dont worry... Your secret is safe with me.
  12. Actually here we go. Just found it...
  13. Yea. I have the housing, brackets, and stick ons for it I used on my bike.. just need to bolt together some sort of swivel for it to stick to. If I can find it, I think I have a suction cup bracket with a pivoting arm for it buried in the garage somewhere I can stick to the top of the motors or something
  14. Ive thought about it a couple times, but after actually using it today, probably will. Putting the tackle box sideways in the back with the camera flopping around in the wind on top of it isnt the greatest setup lol.
  15. Figured today would be a good day to bring my gopro out since there should be alot of action and I ended up having to go alone. Windy, water was murky green 3-4` viz, but the bite was on! I caught +/- 30 fish in 3 hours, and got a couple 5 pounders on video. Most in the 2lb range. Not good video, but video.
  16. Man thats awesome! Last time something like that happened to me, everyone in the park I was at stopped and looked to see what the torrets guy in the bushes was yelling about lol.
  17. I tried a couple of the ones in that chain closer to sample and it was all really small fish. I did the one right behind south sw of target over there too, it was ok.
  18. I used to toss them in the bushes, but I think Imma start cutting them up for eating. If I dont like it, I have friends thatll eat it.
  19. Yea its been slow. Me and my girl went out yesterday, of course prob the worst time of the month and day and think we ended up with only 5 landed fish in a 2.5 hr time. The biggest was maybe 1-3/4lbs lol. Last weekend we were at wolf park, there are peacocks there. Seems they like spinners, and golden shiner jerk baits there. Next time I might catch some shiners and cheat with a few there. I have a feeling this weekend/mid next week is goin to be better guys.
  20. In my opinion, fishing in places or times its more difficult is going to train you to rake when you find the right time and place, and its better to master a few baits than to try to learn 10 new ones at the same time. Use what you know works all the time, and if for some reason one doesnt, try something new. Likewise if fish are biting everything, experiment with something new and see how it goes.
  21. We went out again this weekend in Davie to a high pressure lake and got some good fish, even my girlfriend got a 2.5llb`er
  22. In worms, other than those 2, I like 10" ribbontail in texas red, pumpkin green/pearl, motor oil/chart., and black senko, pearl, baby bass, pumkin/pearl, dirt.
  23. I use heddon spooks in red/white, golden shiner, and silver/black. Need a chart color too but havent gotten it yet.
  24. Im with him ^ Came home about 5, canals been back up high in the back yard, thought Id throw a few. Didnt get anything, tried some different stuff.. When I got the arkanas shiner flukes in, its was on till dark and mosquitos. Nothing great, but many 2-3lb'ers and a ton of everything under.
  25. I dont know a whole lot about lake county, but I do know apopka is a shhh hole. Im sure there are some good fishing areas around there though.
