  1. Nice Fish! Ive yet to try that lake, but may be heading up there in the next week or 2 to give it a shot.
  2. the weekend before last I went out and seen a few bedding bass, but a lot of empty beds. figured out to burn and jerk flukes which a hardly use lately worked great.
  3. That sucks!I was just up there for the gatornationals and was goin to bring a pole for Saturday after qualifying. Guess Im glad I didn't! Seems like there is some nice water up there too.
  4. yea just about every body of water you find will have some in it. I try to avoid "new" looking places with hardly any grass or cover. Usually there are fish in them, and you may get 50 of them but theyre all typically small still. I don't really go up to Boynton myself because Im already surrounded by canals or go to bigger water, but I know there are plenty of places around there.
  5. The GF and I went out today for the first time in a while. Went through a canal in boca since the time change messed up a farther trip planned and it wasn't very productive, so we went to our local margate canal system where it was a slow bite till I figured out to BBUUUUURRRRRNNNN. Fast!!! esp the flukes. ripping and jerking we were getting em one after another. Seen a few bedding bass still to and got to ****** a small male off one. nothing big but we got a lot in the 2-3lbs range.
  6. Loxahatchee, lake ida, osborne, c canals.there are hundreds of little canals and lakes to get a 15' tin into to list. They light enough to move without a ramp, and with 4x4 if available you should be able to yank that thing in and out of about anything lol
  7. Cant decide between holiday or okeechobee tomorrow.
  8. Nice! I wish I could do that with my family. No electronics, shower, and ac and they think theyre in hell lol
  9. I go out alone quite a bit. I have phone service most of the glades and a gps on the boat. Apart from having some general knowledge of the area, common sense is all you need to know what to do/bring. Its actually hard to find a spot out there where someone isnt around or near by when on a boat. Everytime i TRY to find a place nobody is around, there they are, fishing in it lol.
  10. Zoom are one of my favorite plastics all around. Strike king stick worms work ok, but I noticed they last longer than most others.
  11. Thats a good group of guys. I was going to join them, but they use a system where non boaters are drawn to the boat they will use for the weekend and have their own competition. So you get a different guy every time. Didnt mind that, but my gf wants to do it with me, which gets to my jack lol.... Anyone know the club that does their meeting at dania bass pro. I cant remember the name to look at the site.
  12. When I get the winch installed on my jeep I might head down there. I'm always a catch and release unless I'm in saltwater. I'll PM ya if I can get down there.
  13. hah that's awesome.I live about hour and a half maybe 2 hours away depending on traffic. Up in North margate.
  14. I've always wondered about that canal. I used to race there all the time and want to come back but it's so far from my house just to fish and not know. Now I might try it, thanks. Plus there are some good trails to 4 wheel across the street I've wanted to explore as well.
