  1. you know you see all the bassmaster pros fishing tournaments in those 45000 dollar bass boats with enough electonic gear that makes nasa *** theme.what if they had a tournament where no electronic devices could be allowed on there boats on a lake they never fished on before wouldnt that make for a great tournament.
  2. thanks i found what i was looking for .what would be the proper water clarity and conditions to fish the white craws ? I never fished with this color before.
  3. thanks for the input i will check at tackle warehouse.com and see what i can find thanks again.
  4. does any one know where to purchase soft plastic craws in the white color? i have looked at bass pro shops ,cabellas, and gander mountain no luck.
  5. I myself build custom rods as a hobbie . when you use metalic or nylon thread the color preserver has to be applied to the wrap prior to the appoxy. let the preserver cure for 1 hour on the rod dryer before applying the finish per the manufacturers instructions. the color preservers job is exactley what it says it is used to prevent the wrap color from fading offer time when exposed to the suns uv rays.
  6. that is fine now lets go catch some BASS .
  7. Minnow sorry if you were offened by my post.i was simply responding with my own opinion on the matter. but as far as shimano products i read many good quotes about there product thats why i purchased one for my own use.yes i admitt i was disapointed with it.again i am sorry if i affended you or any one else.
  8. I just received the tournament pro speed spool and a new 6'6" saint croix medium fast action rod for christmas. i have not yet fished with it.i have done some practice casting in the back yard using a 1/4 ounce practice plug. this reel casts like a dream and is smooth as silk. I can't wait to wet a line with mine this season.
  9. i have found 2 from saint croix that works well for me the 7'4" medium action mojo bass glass crankbait rod for shallow divers. and the 7'8" medium heavy action for the deep divers they both can be found at bass pro shops.com for 109.00 each and they allso come with a 5 year warranty they are great rods.
  10. I have only one flipping and pitching rig it is a saint croix 7'11" heavy action fast tip . paired it with a ardent f700 flip and pitch reel it is awsome the reel is designed for flipping and pitching.as for the shimano baitcaster purchased one and had to return it bearing mad a bad grining noise right out of the package will never buy another one.change to a ardent or abu garcia revo s .They both come with a heavy drag that a shimano does not have .when flipping and pitching that is exactley what you need to pull theme from heavy cover.
  11. I am in the process of purchasing a tackle bag system just for soft plastics. I have allways kept these items in there factory packaging. I am wanting to remove theme and organize theme in my new tackle bag. The question i have is will they be ok in the plano boxes i am going to use?
