  1. Glenn Springs but it's no wake as well. If you ask me bass fishing at Herb Parsons isn't the greatest. You could do McKellar but I would do a quick internet search first and look at the latest happenings down there. Given just a few weeks ago they had major sewage leak issues which resulted in e coli, fish kill, etc.. Sardis can be good bass fishing but it's a mud hole right now I'm sure, you could at least run the boat there I haven't bass fished Sardis in some time so I don't have a current report. Another option is Tunica Cutoff. If you're in Collierville why not just make the haul to Pickwick and put in at Yellow Creek?
  2. Lures I use on bluff walls with success include but are not limited to football jig, shakey head, swimbait, crankbait, jerkbait. The one not mentioned so far in this thread would be a big flutter spoon. Good luck!
  3. I do it all. I probably drag a football jig more than anything, think about rolling a football on the ground it's unpredictable as to how it will roll. Same thing with a football jig. When I'm dragging a football jig and I feel it come up against a rock or snag I'll let it sit for a second then pop it off, get a lot of bites after you pop it off. Another technique I like in deep water is stroking a jig 4-6' and letting it fall.
  4. Bomber fat free shad deep diving square bill They have a 6 and a 7 The 6 dives 6-10' The 7 dives 10-14
  5. What papajoe said, I always pause it at anything that might be holding a fish. I throw a sammy and not a spook.
  6. 7" culprit red shad worm t-rig or Mann's baby -1
  7. That trick worm on a 3/8oz drop shot can be deadly out on the ledges.
  8. Several places to get them cheaper than BPS. Guy I get them from sells 1/2oz bullet weights for $4.49 2pack so $2.25 a piece. PM me if you want more details. Don't want to throw his name around since he's not a board sponsor.
  9. Tie a palomar knot and it shouldn't be an issue
  10. Mike Long has some good videos about rigging swimbaits on youtube.
  11. I use the 7'6" heavy duckett for carolina rig and 3/4oz football jig. Works great for it.

  19. Flatlands Custom Tackle made by Joey Watts
  20. Lews Super Duty but then again I'm a little on the clueless side when it comes to throwing those big swimbaits. It does handle the rig just fine.
  21. I see Siebert has an option for wire tied jigs for an extra .25 I would def. do that. I'll never own another jig or spinnerbait that isn't wire tied. Enjoy the new jigs
  22. Strike King and change the hooks out to mustad short shank triple grip hooks a size bigger
