  2. Pizz Shadley 2 The hand painted scales are a nice touch.
  3. Brad from F5 can take care of you.
  4. Consider it already gone once you buy it. It’ll help you get over that fear. On the plus side it’s easy to find another if need be.
  5. Gantarel jr s waver 168 savage gear shine glide G2 shellcracker hudd 68 3:16 rising son trash fish All you need to be productive and not break the bank. Get into the mindset that you’re going to loose them. It’s part of the game my friend.
  6. Try standing under a tent that has offerings from like 12 different makers. I was $450 lighter in under 2 minutes, and that’s not an exaggeration either. I got 2 Pizz baits. A bgc glide and the new 6” bull rat.
  7. Attended the Swimbait Universe event this weekend in VA. Got to meet the man Paul Smith face to face and pick up some of his Pizz Customs baits as well. Met a lot of other makers also. Kevin Lee of BGC,Mike Bucca, and a few more.
  8. My new #1 of 5 switchblade from illude baits. This is a pre release and not up for sale yet. Super stoked on this one.
  9. Let’s just say it almost felt like it was free.
  10. Priced too low to pass up. Mint zillion type R with spacers, zillion 1016 sv spool, and IP68 line guide.
  11. Funny how things work. Took me 7 months to find one, and I have another already. I also passed on buying a 3rd today.
  12. @Harold Scoggins Limited (tilapia) pattern. I was sent this as a gift from the guy who runs/created Swimbait Canada.
  13. Is it going to hurt anything, no probably not. Should you remove it, yes if it’s possible.
  14. A 7 month search comes to an end. Hand carved from Alaskan yellow cedar and then sealed/painted.
  15. I’ve been kinda looking for a clean td-z to throw a simple build together with. Wasn’t in a rush, just looking now and then. I finally found one at a price I couldn’t say no to. So it all came together yesterday after receiving it. Aside from the reel, it’s built out of extra parts I had around. 7:1 brass gears Carbontex drag washers Modified driveshaft to allow the use of a steez handle bolt. Zpi blue emblem spool Zpi sic spool bearings Zillion type R drag star Steez cast control cap Painted line guide insert Zpi 92mm handle Zpi knobs Hedgehog dress up pieces
  16. The zero adjust just helps people remove an element of confusion. You leave it alone and use the mag brakes. It’s not, not adjustable. It’s just set to where Daiwa recommends it to be set at. It can be turned if you wanted to loosen it up some.
  17. Line diameter varies between brands. In cxx 20lb is more like 25lb when compared to Berkeley big game.
  18. The new revised lineup is a huge improvement over the previous rods. Lighter, less tip heavy, better blank, better guides, and a nicer reel seat/lock nut.
  19. Yozuri hybrid pline cx,cxx, and floroclear
  20. Tim’s (hoohoorjoo) reel was an Alphas air stream frame with Alphas type F sides. The gears are from a pxr.
  21. 30-40 yards consistently. Depends on the bait. A 3/8oz spinnerbait isn’t going to go as far as a 5” weightless senko. Typically putting the bait in the right spot pays off more than just firing it out there as far as you can.
  22. Nobody has ever said that you need expensive gear to catch fish. Aaron Martens is a fine example of that. He went from using some high dollar Megabass rods ($700 X7) to using Enigma rods that are $100. He still catches plenty of fish. Some of us just get enjoyment out of nice gear. Which is a relative term as it is. Some of us are enthusiasts and are okay with spending $400+ on a rod, or a reel. I know guys that have over $2,000 in a single combo. Some people think that’s just absurd and their idea of high end is a $300 combo. That’s perfectly okay too. “Get in where you fit in”
