  1. that's awesome mike, thanks for the info!
  2. same place twice in 3 years is pretty lame..... twice in 5 years still kinda lame, twice in 10 years would be fine. i just think there's plenty of fine places in this USofA to fish aside from that one lake!
  3. BOOOOOO.... wish it was Thursday and Friday too so i could watch at work!
  4. that's crazy! i hope, really hope for the good of the sport, that there isn't a single whiff of cheating in this one!
  5. very nice mike, how did you get that crackled black/white look?
  6. very cool, i bet it catches fish!
  7. great work, keep it up!
  8. very nice!
  9. i don't but i'll readily admit that i wish i did. i have a ride 135 and love it, but the ease of the pedal drive is just incredible!
  10. i fished on the Chattahoochee from my wife's paddleboard this summer. i took a ratchet strap and strapped my yeti roadie down as a seat/cooler/tacklebox and took off by myself. i really did it to see if it would work and also because where i was taking out i was going to have to walk a good ways so i wanted her super light unit vs my ride 135. well it worked, but frankly not that well. balance was an issue and tracking was as well. i did a lot of 360's that day!!
  11. inline spinner
  12. sniper fits the bill for me too, aside from invizx it's the only fluoro i believe i have on any reels at the moment. and once that invizx is up, i'll switch that over to sniper too.
  13. very nice intro!!!
  14. i'd throw some shad/bone patterns in the mix and a couple chrome ones in for good measure.
  15. man i couldn't fish that damiki rig if i tried, watching the bass live and seeing all of them do it for a few days was enough to turn me off of it. but yeah, that'd be the guy to build the custom!
  16. damiki rig rod....
  17. snagged a bottle of Angel's Envy recently and i'm really digging that!
  18. all good, but that second bait is awesome! figure out how to replicate your mistake!
  19. i'd buy another 6'10" MH/F .... i have one and it's the most well rounded and versatile rod i use. i'd see no problem with having two of them if they suit all your needs!
  20. i believe they carried the owner % over from the cherokee event because the ownership of some of the guys i noticed were way too close to the cherokee number for me to consider that very accurate.... i had to go check the BR standings just to make sure i was ahead of you! only by a few points, but ahead nonetheless!
  21. i think a lot of them held on because of strong gun sales, at least the one i used to live by in Mooresville, NC. I believe it was or is still one of the largest, if not the largest, gun shop in NC. the fishing assortment there was horrible to say the least. right next to the largest lake in the entire state and they had just as much, if not more inventory in saltwater gear than they did freshwater. and for anyone curious, it's about a 4 hour car ride to the nearest saltwater from there....
  22. i know it's the most boring bass live ever to watch. 4 days of spinning gear fished vertically is as boring as a 4 day nascar race.
  23. i have zero idea!
  24. there you have it, consensus is very clear..... either braid OR mono OR copolymer!!!! the only thing you'll get any to agree on here is that the one line you DO NOT want to use is fluorocarbon.
  25. right? i used to get so much more purse for my money......
