  1. They don't work. Especially the red ones...the best thing yall can do is send them all to me and ill find something to do with them. Lol
  2. http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=10544611
  3. Go to Espn website and check these hideous things out. Nike is killing me. I can believe someone signed off on these atrocious uniforms. I really liked their uniforms...why change...its not gonna make your team better and you fanbase larger....this new look is crazy. I put it up there with the Maryland Terps. What's up with the numbers...o mean it looks like a digital alarm clock
  4. I have an HTC android phone and I love it. You cant go wrong with a galaxy S4 or a HTC One. I'm an android guy. My wife however loves her Iphone. Both are good phones....I just choose android devices.
  5. I've lost all 5 once. Live well died and I never noticed. Lost 1/2lb for every fish. In a game of ounces, that hurt.
  6. Sounds like Vienna just found a good spokesman I'm always happy when children catch record fish. That kids gonna have a smile on his face that plastic surgery can't remove.
  7. Oh and one more.. Over animated guy. It annoys me to fish with this guy. Every pitch and skip or good cast has a sound effect or excalimation like "Bingo or boo ya!". And every little tap on his line brings out a "ah ah ah, " and not like the rest of us...it over exaggerated in way that's annoying. I've been known to rock the boat on a hookset, but this guy will take a step back while simultaneously twisting and uppercutting the rod and he exclaims OMG! Got em! Its a toad man its a toad! Every single fish or miss is like a skit from SNL. Now my rant is done.
  8. I don't mind the jet skis. Its the air headed operators and their little demon spawn which are often left to operate them underage without proper training or the common sense to ride right up on a man standing up in a boat rather than riding on the other side of the creek.. I don't mind rain. I dont mind 10-15 mph wind.. its the gale force winds that I hate. That's a good way to burn up a trolling battery and A good way to see me to smoke two packs of marlboros trying to settle my aggravation. Thunder and lightning is easy.. It doesn't bother me, ill find a boat slip or get off the water. And anglers that won't even say hey to you, but the seem to follow you all over the lake... My thing is, wave me down, talk to me.. and don't seem so creepy.. I really don't mind. But you dont have to be a sneak.. you don't have to fish on top of me. Chances are if you pull up and talk to me, I can probably put u on a good pattern so u don't have to fish 75 yards behind me trying to see what I'm doing. Ill prbably tell you out right. Last one is people at the ramp that do these two things. 1) come out of the prep lane and on the the ramp and then the spend 20 mins talking, and or prepping. Come on guys that's what the prep lane is for. 2) this one doesn't bother me that bad because normally they cant help it. But I hate trying to get out of the water when an obvious new boater or a person. Who has never done it before takes half an hour and nine attempts to trailer a boat. I'm just sitting there floating I. The no wake zone smoking an entire pack of Marlboros waiting impatiently. Rant done.
  9. I call almost everybody Bubba or Buddy. Does that count? Lol.
  10. My suggestion, put some mono on that thing and tie a 1/4 oz weight to the end and go out in the back yard and practice after you watched the videos. When You get done practicing, eat a sandwich and then go out and practice some more. Learn the nuances of your tension And you brakes. read all you can also.
  11. Zoom trick worm is a standard. The Jackall and the The Robo worms are above and beyond to me. But I really love the Rage Thumper worm on a 4/0 jig head too! That thinng has a lot more aggressive action than the others, but it is deadly on a 1/4 oz 4/0 head. Theres no one lure, I've put a lot of different plastics on shakey heads, both light and bubba style and I've got a lot of good results. Baby aRage craws and critter craws are good too.
  12. Same for me.Mine never cared for it. But when I got my first boat, (an aluminum) she had the bright idea of getting a tan and going along for the ride. It wasn't long before she saw how much I was having catching fish that she picked up a spinning rod with a shaky head trick worm and started catching fish too. 12 years later, she backs my bass boat into the water ..which she bought for me while I was at work one day). She uses her own St. Croix Avid pearl rods and likes to run the front of the boat for me. She's not a nut about about it like me, but once on the water she shows a good intrest in how best to find and catch bass. I'm a blessed man. Edit- I need to go out tp the shop and show yall a pic, my wife BEJEWELED a Revo S reel! I wanted to get her a reel for her flipping rod and she had to have a white one... So Revo S it was, we get home and it wasn't two hours later before she had pink and purple stones on it.... I created a monster.
  13. Good job Brian
  14. Its so hard for me to get off in the month of May. I wish Wilson Lake wasn't 10-11 hrs away.
  15. Dear CrankinRaider, I'm a heavy cover/ shallow cover guy. I have an affinity for jigs, and big sqaurebills. I like to punch too. I build my own jigs and I fish them year round. Sincerely JigginTeal Now we are acquainted as fisherman. Lol. You know I give you crap. But I look forward to the say when u bring ur bama butt up here and fish with me
  16. Haha on more than one occasion I have had my full size Zara spook to get fouled up. I reel it in annoyed and find a baby bass that is smaller than the spook.
  17. Dear Raider, What do you think of guys who are members of a popular fishing forum, but they RARELY discuss fishing or fishing gear.? It would seem they are important and core members but the general community on said forums don't know who they are as fisherman. Hell I still think said person is the UNDERCOVER moderator and unquestioned ruler of the everything else forum. Lol
  18. Forgot how good that video was
  19. I stand facing the side of my boat and practice pitch skipping under the trailer. You can also practice pitching but make your line just above the lure hit the bottom of the rail (facial board of simulated dock) the momentum will cause a new pendulum ans sling the bait further under.
  20. My first boat (longer that 12 ') was a 17.5ft alumacraft. It was a good sturdy boat. I loved it.
  21. BPS doesn't impress me anymore. I'm not so.e with them, but they are down on my list.
  22. If I set the hook on a fish 30 ft away and the hook set essentially boat flips the fish, then that's a Dink
  23. 7'7 Cumara H. 89.00. Got it from TWs Xmas sale a year ago paired with an Lews Speed Spool 79.00bucks from my local tackle shop. 170.00 bucks ain't bad all. Abu C4 reel, Loomis Green inshore rod. Reel was 30 and rod was 50 a year ago at a divorce sale. 80 bucks is even bettrler. This a flounder/striper setup.
  24. Both of those are probably great rods, but Okuma makes a guide select rod with a rating from 1/2-5oz. Those okumas have been getting good reviews as swimbaits and a rig rods. The okuma can bee had for 130. That's a good savings from what your budget is. Whenever I get around to buying a specialized a rig rod, I'm looking that way
