  6. Winded? Can't say that cigs have ever got me winded. I'm 31 and 6'0 210lbs ans still play in the outfield for a travel church softball team. I wonder if I will gain any speed or endurance now. ....I'm pretty quick and have a good set of lungs as it is

  11. Keep it simple stupid. KISS. My MOST SUCCESSFUL.. Texas rigged and or a punch rig (same really, just ad a skirt) On a jig On a c rig
  12. I saw this on Facebook, I figured the spelling and grammar police would love it. I try my best and I'm usually on my smart phone typing fast, but its kinda a peeve of mine.
  13. There have been days when I can't catch a bass to save my life, but Jack's are hitting every spinnerbait and crankwe throw...those are the days we just gto with it and enjoy catching them. They really do right hard and will crush a spinnerbait.
  14. C rig
  15. I usr gas. I need to replace my burners. I'm thinking I will take them out and make a charcoal grill out of it.
  16. Thanks guys. I steer clear of hobby lobby when I can.... They are high. I'm still collecting info. I hope to make my first purchases by end of the week
  17. More time spent fishing than sleeping but less than time spent working.
  18. I started building my own jigs a year ago and I've been very satisfied with what I've been doing. But now, I've got a wild hair up my tail and I want to take on a new hobby. I understand that this will require purchasing at least one airbrush gun and other materialssuch as paints, clear epoxy, and other things. Cost isn't a huge concern but I do want to be conservative in the beginning as I learn both to airbrush and to build the lures. My goal is really to develope another hobby inside of fishing. The crank building and customization intrigues me. My goal is simply to have fun learning the craft and to fish with my own cranks, lipless, and topwaters...and to catch fish on them. I've been searching a lot of the web, web stores, forums and such and I'm a little overwhelmed. My questions are, what do I absolutely need to get started? What are a few things that I don't necessarily need but would make life easier? I see several sites with unpainted bodies, whose are the best? I want lures that are quality and consistent. I see lure prices between .60-3.00. Any other good info or starter kits or buy stuff individual... Thanks guys
  19. Awesome.
  20. Couple of chunks
  21. Probably would get stolen. Raider check and see if any of your fitter or construction buddies can put you on about 12 ' of 4-8" pipe.
  22. Yeah ... I didn't read all of the OPs post, its doesn't matter what size or type of line you have... Get in the habit of checking your knot and line after ever few casts and after every fish or every miss. What happened to you tends to happen. Re tie often and remember, mono doesn't last forever. Pull a few feet off and cut it every now ans then.
