  1. when there is so much prey around. One lake I fish has a million little Crappie about 4-6". Bass get real big there but are hard to catch. So why would they eat a lure? Can there be too much forage for them? Went to a pond yesterday and marked a huge school of either Bluegill or Crappie on the Garmin Panoptix. Threw a jerkbait right at them and hooked a 7.1 Largemouth. Was the lure just easier to grab while paused and suspended? More erratic and injured looking? These Bass are harder to figure out then women
  2. How is the hookup percentage with that hook setup Catt?
  3. Totally agree. And barely move it painfully slow. As others said a suspending jerkbait is a much better choice
  4. https://postimages.org/
  5. I have KVD #4's if I am allowed to say.
  6. Most units show bridges good as they are so hard. Brush and pics are more difficult and what most fisherman are interested in Here is a screen shot from a Bill Dance video for Garmin. Impressive LOL. This is more typical of the performance I got. Just tryin to help someone to know what to expect.
  7. As I said if Di and Si are important to you, dont get a Garmin. Show me some. I had the top of the line 7608 and GT50 transducer and my images were identical to the ones shown. Grainy and blurry.
  8. That Elite gives a good image.
  9. I run 2d on left and Di on right split screen most of the time. The built in TD on the trolling motor wont give good performance annd NO Chirp.
  10. Spray paint the main color but brush on the back. As said nail polish would work well.
  11. What happened? No more deals I guess.
  12. I almost always use a cheapo 3/8 casting sinker tied on the dropper. Not many rocks here and I usually lose a rig due to hook snagging on wood. I use a weedless #1 hook. I like a shorter 6' ML rod so I can drop straight down if fishing vertical. 15# braid to 8-10# flouro leader. Never understood the advantage of a light weigh for DS unless you have rocks I guess. Went to Wallymart to get more 3/8 lead sinkers and only thing they had in 3/8 were Steel. They are huge! Wonder if that would help in not getting caught in rock crevasse.
  13. Simple enough if they bite the weight. Use a jig/plastic as the weight on your drop shot.
  14. Holographic silver.
  15. Garmin Striker has no maps at all.
  16. Could be custom painted knock offs
  17. Warts are the good Pre Rapaoa except the one that says "original series"
  18. Be aware that the TG76BN Mustad KVD's in bulk are not the good conical Ultra point. They are regular angle cut and not very sharp. And cheaper here. http://cedarrunoutdoors.com/25pk-6-kvd-tg76bn/
  19. Thanks. Those are genuine DT10's
  20. I use the Predator 110 blanks and they are really good quality and suspend well. They fish very similar to real one. I am not a tourney guy so close enough for me.
  21. No body believed me LOL. The Helix should be great
  22. Been very slow. Could not post. Maybe I am banned again :)~
  23. Thanks. I use mostly Createx thinned with tap water. Here are a couple natural perch I am playin with.
  24. So if I get a suspend in the 65* test tank, what will it do in 40* water? ty
  25. Dont forget the type of bait you use has alot to do with weight/sink rate. An Elastec bait they floats will make the 1/16 head closer to 1/32 in the water.
