  1. Yup. In fact the one I have is a Chuck Wollery signature edition Ya the pull string becomes a leader when fighting a fish. The tail seems pretty durable.
  2. Oh yeah Moto Minnow
  3. Apparently when you pull your line it pulls the string and winds the motor that flaps the tail. Not sure how durable it would be but I would think bass would bust it. Tried it in the fish tank. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tspmuwUWYTg
  4. Single o-ring. I order slightly tighter (7/32") than the standard 1/4" ID that most use. I install with pliers. 2/0 Mustad weedless hooks. http://www.theoringstore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=367_23_22&products_id=1069 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYK18yQVFsQ
  5. Most 6'6" medium rods should throw a 1/8 oz bait fine.
  6. Loves me sum Scatter Raps
  7. I had really bad results with that hook in size 1 same as you describe. Size 2/0 work much better. They are a thin wire finesse hook that is very sharp. Not much of a hookset is needed. Let the fish take the Senko longer. I normally wait 3-5 seconds before reeling down.
  8. The smallest ones make great dropshot baits
  9. Nice wake/subsurface bait that brings up big fish.
  10. Nice inrll Copies are not the same as originals. Internals are different. Thickness of plastic, rattle chambers etc. Pre rapala Wiggle Warts and newer ones look the same, but perform differently. Yes they both catch fish but....
  11. I use an o-ring and a 2/0 mustad weedless hook. 6'6" medium spinning with straight 20# power pro
  12. Actually its quite easy. I use mothers aluminum polish an an old T shirt. Any fine polish like Flitz would work too.
  13. The blanks the painters get are NOT LC. They usually and shouls say KO (knock off) in the description. I have researched this and contacted them and it is imposible to buy real LC blanks. I am sure the cheapo blanks work though.
  14. Still experimenting and will do a write up when I get it right. Need the water to soften a bit
  15. I have also done VERY well on the Scatter Rap Crank in Bluegill.
  16. Catching over 100 fish on it
  17. There is a forum on this site that caters to luremaking. Try searching as it has been discussed numerous times. As said Youtube has many good vids. If I;m alowed to say, Do-it molds has a good forum as wellas Bears Baits, Tackle Underground and Bait Junkys GL
  18. My water is slightly stained and I usually tie 20# Power Pro directly. I try flouro leader and in my situation found no difference.
  19. Find a custom bait maker that will make exactly what you want. Color, softness, sink rate etc. Dont think there are any on here that advertise anymore.
  20. Baker Lures Suspending Squarebill Crankbait Amazing little crank. I like Pumpkinseed color best.
  21. http://kickerfishbait.com/shop/hightail-lizard-6/ ????
  22. Fish in the southern states can REALLY be affected by cold water and extended periods of cold weather. I think they probably went deep where you cant reach them. But a few warm sunny days and they should move back shallower.
  23. As Darren said. Baits with smaller treble hooks like crankbaits.
  24. Baitwerks does nice painting on them and increases the value.
  25. Very creative using them on a drop shot.
