  1. I wonder if a toothpick would add enough buoyancy
  2. Or Chatterbait Yes they will commenly strike the blades. Not much you can do about it.
  3. Slightly custom LOL
  4. Why not start with a broom handle or wood dowel. Make a Zara Spook type walking bait. Not much carving and sanding
  5. I wouls say 50* is a good cut off Even tho water is cooling in the fall, bass are feeding heavily and aggressively before the winter
  6. Doc Irv will custom make whatever you want http://docirvcustombaits.com/tacklebox/index.php?route=product/product&path=24&product_id=204
  7. Beautiful baits. Ever throw one Deep?
  8. That would be the thermocline at 12'.
  9. Not my idea. I just thought it was cool too
  10. I made a tool from thin wire and a loop on the end. Poke it through and put a few strands in the loop and pull back through. You can add it to any bait.
  11. Does this in simple terms answer what he is asking?
  12. How big is your lake. Mine was 350 acres and took approx 200 hours and a couple hundred in gas
  13. You mean it draws 5 AMPS not watts? One is input and watts is output
  14. Made these up for a buddy for bed fishing.
  15. Yes. R2S uses the same length in milimaters in their part #s 25.4mm in an inch so a 100 bait is about 4" 110 Sammy is most popular and a great bait.
  16. Not putting down the Company. Just stating you jig guys are nuts with all the different designs for so-called different purposes.
  17. I would call it "looks the same as every other jig". Stupid hook design too.
  18. I was not impressed with the G2 Shellcracker. Sluggos were a game changer for me when they first came out.
  19. It comes with pretty large hooks. I will also use a 2/0 weedless hook. No probs with hook ups/losing fish.
  20. Best there is. Lake Fork Tackle. Baits last a long time too.
  21. Firetiger 1.5 squarebill.
  22. I actually prefer a slightly stiffer stock bait. I find (wacky rigged) I can twitch/quiver it in place easier without it moving in much. That is more important to me then the wiggle on the fall.
