Very nice. You picked a tough pattern for a first.
I have used Devcon 2ton and Bob Smith. Both are great. I mix by weight. 10g resin to 9g hardener. Mix well and always dries perfect.
This is best investment I have bought.

David Hughes I tried makin a floating formula for you that is still soft and durable. Standard 1/4 screw football shakey head. 7.5" Magnum Trick worm. You will have to try these.
four heaping tablespoons of microbubbles per 4 oz medium plastc. Very white and opaque so I needed ALOT of Black colorant. Two tablespoons softener
Afterwards I put a cup plastic in a jar with softener and microbubbles so I dont have to deal with the dangerousairborn powder next time. I need to see how that will work.
Also durability seems decent. This is a flat belly worm. A full round would have even more buoyancy
Shallow spring fishing is a good time to learn the bass jig for me. Stick to lighter jigs (since more shallow). 1/4 oz. They wont get hung up on bottom as much. Cut the skirt down a lil and use a Baby Rage craw. Medium or MH rod max. 20# braid and a 12-15# flouro leader should feel the bite.
I have been using these 1/16 #1 jigheads with a fiber weedguard and a Saltless Stick I make and a drop of glue. I guess it's not exactly a proper NED rig with Mushroom head and TRD. Works well though.
So what is the real difference between the two? I used to fish and skip tubes, usually with a Gitzit glider internal style weight and offset hook. Not sure why I stopped as they worked well.
I tried the Ned and like it. Where would you use each?
The lefts side is bouncing off the trolling motor and then going to right side of boat and bouncing back to right side td.
This is common when Big motor is blocking TD on a transome mount
I had a newbie fisherman friend on my boat that just reeled them in like that and was killin them from the back of the boat. I didnt do as well with a wacky rig and the "correct" method. I was kinda ticked
Anyone remember this givaway from the 80's? One of the better ones along with the Joe Camel crankbait.
Interesting that there are no green colors. Not very popular back then.
Will a gen 2 work with that motor?
