All I use are St Croix rods and have a mix of 25 Extremes, LTBs, and MBs, and personally I perfer to use the LT's.

Every baitcaster I've bought before you could spin the handle on it and it goes around freely like 3 to 4 times. My dilemma is when I spin the handle on the winch it only goes around like 1 1/2 to 2 times and it looks sluggish all the brakes are disengaged and the spool tension knob is really low, is this normal because of the bigger gears it has or maybe they come with to much oil? Any idea would help.

New to the forums, so I'd like to say Hi to everyone first. Heres what I opened from my Wife and my little boys. Also got a Mojo Bass flippin rod and a Mojo Bass spinning drop shot rod, but those wont be here until thursday.
