  1. I use a lot of orange belly colored baits up here in North Eastern Ontario, but that's because of all the perch here.
  2. I for one LOVE online sales makes me feel better when I buy fishing tackle on sale. I was just wondering if we could have a sticky thread so people can post online sales so we can all enjoy savings.
  3. Nice, the quantum is the only non abu reel I have
  4. +1 I got the same rod paired with a Quantum Accurist PT with the flipping switch
  5. 3/4 football jigs around rock and sand
  6. This is what I just got... Hello again After i finished the divorce i have moved to my parents home in Detroit Michigan for a while, because i think they are only people who can help me to pass this difficult situation. Besides, there are a lot of things which have priority now, so, this boat has to go. It has clean title, cleared of any obligations or fees (no lien) and it is registered in my name. I am a member of the eBay buyer protection and using this service you will get a 5 days testing period after delivery. During that 5 days testing period I will not be getting any money. After your inspection period (5 calendar days) In case you won't like the boat you will notify eBay and you will send the boat back on my expense, if you want to keep it you will also announce eBay, you will send the funds (payment method and all the details will be set up by eBay) and you will keep the boat . I need your name and address and after that I will send your info to eBay and they will e-mail you soon with more info about the deal. Thanks and have a great day Sounds like a scam to me.
  7. Hmm, I just sent her an email asking if she has all the registration and ownership paper work. I really hope this is legit
  8. I wish it was that easy to take a day off in the army. Im gonna go this Saturday with a buddy of mine. I think its gonna be worth spending the gas money and takin a gamble and ill just keep the cash stored in the truck until I think everything is legit.
  9. You can try to make some sort of screen for it using mesh that you use for screen doors.
  10. So I found a 2008 Triton TS 17 for $2900, 50hp all the works. The person I emailed about it says she is recently divorced and is selling it because she is strapped for cash. The catch is the boat, motor and trailer are 3 1/2 hours away one way. Does this seem legit to you guys? Or do you think I'm going to get robbed? lol
  11. Pffft I noodle for Musky
  12. Koppers Live Target make nice swimbaits
  13. I don't know why people don't use Elastech stuff a lot more, they last forever and they are really buoyant. Only downside is that its hard to rig them on a jig collar or spring. If u use a lighter to heat the collar or spring u can get them on. They are awesome on a shakey head because the tail will always float up
  14. I have no problem sharing information with someone that asks me. Mind you I wont give specifics, I'll just say "I'm using a crankbait or I'm using a Pig and a Jig". But I absolutely hate it when I'm fishing and someone comes over and starts giving me advice without me asking for it.
  15. Another note on snap swivels is that if a bait doesn't spin the like, you probably don't need it
  16. Snap swivels are a little heavy plus pickup vegetation from time to time. When I use Norman speed clips, they're small but strong. Some people will say the fish can see the snap/snap swivel and wont bite, I think its BS - Don't you think a fish can see a big bill or hooks on the crankbait?
  17. Ive done some research and heres what Ive come up with. Crankbaits are tested on a line with .30mm-.33mm on line diameter. So that would be lets say.. Suffix elite 10LB mono (.30mm) or Seaguar Invisx 15LB FC (.33mm)
  18. For about $200/shipped you can get a $400 dollar rod (St Croix Legend Xtreme) I got the same one and matched it with an Abu Winch (I use this rod for shallow diving/squarebill crankbaits) http://www.stcroixrods.com/shop/catalog/Freshwater-23-1.html Its the XC72MM
  19. Snaps for crankbaits = good snap swivels = bad
  20. Im almost 100% sure its measured with 10lb FC
  21. Zman Lizards on a Carolina rig
  22. Senkos for tournaments, Dingers for everyday fishing.
  23. Correction they're a size 6
  24. I think they're size 4, and when it comes to KVDs I change out the hooks as soon as I buy them, either with KVD Mustads or Owner 41's, but I don't think it will make that much of a difference in performance.
  25. what kind of crankbait is it
