  1. Will BPS online have them?
  2. If u got $200 to spend, get yourself a Chronarch 50/51E
  3. Swim jig: Twintail menace with it threaded on the hook with the flappers vertically to make it look like a fishes tail. Everything else, Netbait Paca Chunk
  4. I'm glad there's still decent people in this world still looking out for others well being.
  5. I've ordered an LTZ and a T3 Air and got them both no problems.
  6. Lol no worries, I'm actually super glad you posted that. I was about to buy a X7 off of TW, then I saw you post. I would have regretted buying the X7 then finding out about those and not getting one. I'm a big sucker for shiny things.
  7. Nice, I'm just going to blame you guys.
  8. I actually just pulled the trigger on an Arms Challenge A6903X on Rakuten. How will I explain this one to the wife.
  9. Man all this JDM stuff i'm discovering now... might have to dump everything and restart.
  10. o wow... my eyeballs just blew up
  11. When they first released them the Veritas where all really fragile - Apparently they've fixed that problem. That being said, the ceramic (I think its ceramic) ring inside the tip top fell off of 3 of my Veritas rods, got them all replaced and now my kids use them. From what I've gathered about Abu (from the Veritas and the new Revo 3's I've owned) their quality control and just general craftsmanship is garbage. I've gone to BPS and Sail retail stores and I've looked down the rod through the guides and I can safely say 6 out of 10 rods don't line up straight. Sure they're warranty is absolutely amazing but who wants to go through that hassle if you really don't have too.
  12. If your thinking about getting the Extreme, I'd recommend the St Croix Legend Xtreme.
  13. No spare spool just gives me an excuse to buy a new rod and reel.
  14. They just got em on TW, and OMG I think I'm in love. Anyone have any experience's using them?
  15. Its free if its their fault, and as far as I'm concerned St Croix is doing you a favor by replacing a rod for only $50 if it was broken because of your negligence.
  16. If its the fault of the rod all you have to do is pay for the shipping, they ship it back free and no fees for the rod. If you use the Gold plan and its a fault of your own it costs shipping on your end +$50 (that includes shipping back) to replace the rod. If its your fault and you use the gold plan + upgrade it costs you $50ish dollars less of the actual price of the rod ie My Mojo DS costs $110, I upgraded to the DS Tournament which retails for $260ish so the actual price of the DS Tournament is $200 + Free shipping on there end, plus another +15ish dollars to ship to Wisconsin. Edit *Took about a week for the rod to get to me, but I also get express 1-2 business days.
  17. I snapped the tip on my DS Mojo spinning rod, I called them and ask about the Gold Star upgrade program. He told me there was no problem upgrading to the Legend Tournament Bass and to save me on shipping he just told me to chop up the rod and put it into a small box to save on shipping.
  18. St Croixs customer service is 2nd to none. Not only do they make THE BEST RODS ON EARTH, they also stand by there product 100%.
  19. This makes me furious. Two things in this world I cant stand are thieves and lowlifes.
  20. So the STCI41000FA would be better for a DS w/ 6 lb fluorocarbon I'm assuming?
  21. Whats the difference between the STCI41000FA and the STCI41000FAML besides the drag and a small amount of line capacity?
  22. Test and adjust your brake, spool tension knob and don't forget your smart thumb.
  23. All the new Revo 3s have backplay in them, as for the Lews, they're made in the same factory as Abu and share same or similar parts.
  24. You pretty much nailed it.
  25. I'd start off with your tension knob tight to prevent over runs, then once you can get it to skip once or twice, try letting it off to get more skips and distance.
