  2. I love fishing simcoe.
  3. I'd like to see a size comparison as well, thank you.
  4. Ya, I'm not doing it to save money, I'm doing it to kill winter hours up here in the great white north. I don't think I'm going to skip out on good quality stuff either.
  5. LTB Big Cranker, that is all. Edit; Lol my mistake I didn't read your budget.
  6. I like nose hooking them and fishing them like a jerkbait.
  7. Awesome, thanks for all the help guys! Now to spend some money on tools and try to hide them from my wife.
  8. Ok, so the measurements listed there are the inside diameter of the reel seat I'm assuming?
  9. Is that 9"-11" from the top or the bottom of the blank? Also, I've been looking at these really nice ALPS reel seats (http://www.alpstackle.com/index.php?func=product&act=view&gid=10&pro_id=42) What do I measure on the blank to determine what size of reel seat to use?
  10. 1. Once you find the spine of the blank, how do you know where to put each guide? Is there a specific measurement between guides? 2. How do you know how far up to put the reel seat, or is it just personal preference? 3. Is there a difference between spinning and casting blanks? Or can you use any blank you make either or.
  11. Hologram shad in the FAT version. I xan crush a bag within an hour fishing smbs.
  12. Tatsu sets the bar IMO.
  13. Any 1000 sized Shimano for under $100.
  14. Remember, don't over work a DS. Let it sit and let the current give it action, and once in awhile bounce it back.
  15. Great jig heads, but the design picks up A LOT of cabbage.
  16. I own almost every LTB model there is, my favorite casting by far is the TBC71MHXF thats pretty close to what you're looking for. Tip might be to fast for crankbaits though.
  17. Cant ever go wrong with a drop shot.
  18. Give this man a cookie!
  19. I love elaztech, the only downfall is that its a PITA to get a worm on a screwlock.
  20. Menace rigged with the flappers vertically like a fishes tail, Kalin's Sizmic grub or Kalin's Lunker grub 5".
  21. What kind of line are you using? Try Tatsu, it sets the standard for fluorocarbon.
  22. No pic, but when you rig it horizontally the flappers would lay flat like a craw fishes pincers. Vertically they would be sideways looking like a fishes tail.
