Okay, I will probably make some people mad/upset with what I am about to say, but here it is. I don't feel sorry for anyone who tries to become a "professional" fisherman. They knew the risk/reward going in. That being said, I understand the frustration seeing guys making thousands/millions simply off of social media. I chose to be a public school teacher knowing I would never be wealthy. I've been doing it 16 years and making a measly $46,000 a year while some guys/kids are making that in a few months on social media. Am I jealous? Hell yea!!! I would love to be able to record some content and make 10x more than I currently do. However, this is the path I chose in life. Social media wasn't around when I chose my career, I couldn't do it now because I don't have the time, but I am also not interesting enough. I love what I do and I won't ever complain about getting to interact with the youth of today and trying my hardest to be a positive influence in their life. I can assure you, they love their Tiktok and Instagram way more than they love learning geography from me, but I try my best.
Randy should spend some time as a substitute teacher, then his life may not seem so miserable.
