Man, I LOVE hunting pheasant. Too bad my connections are gone. Now it would cost me an arm and a leg to go. BTW, also the best tasting game out there IMO.

I haven't been able to take the boat out since June due to softball and other family obligations, Then deer season cam around etc. Well, long story short, I kept my boat plugged up till about July when we got our pool and we used that plug in to run our pimp. My boat sits under our carport. We had a chance of severe storms one time for a week or so so I took it to my Mom's and put it in her barn for a week or maybe 10 days. I brought it home and parked it back under the carport. About a week ago I decided to plug it back up to charge the batteries and my 2 TM batteries charged and my on-board charger light said "check connection" on my starting battery. I let me TM batteries charge and unplugged it and hooked a charger up to my starting battery. It never would take a charge. I had a buddy over and he said he doesn't think there is any way the battery is shot (it is about a year old). He thinks mice got into it while it was in the barn. My plan was to just buy a new battery and see if that fixes it. This one registers 0.0 on a volt meter and will not charge. What would you guys do????

Ok, this information may be useless, but here is my opinion. I got into jerkbait fishing about 4 years ago (never had any luck till I went with a guy that slayed them on one). I have tried every action and taper under then sun and I settled on a 6'8" MH x-fast Shimano Curado. The reel seat isn't the most comfortable but it doesn't make too much of a difference. I tried a 6'6" M Expride and it seemed to cast them better, but IMO it was too "whippy". I don't worry about ripping the hooks out with the MH because I set me drag to fish a JB. I feel like I get more feel out of the rod. Like I said, I am different than most people, so my opinion might be useless to you.

I have a 7'2 MH Glass Expride that I would feel confident throwing all those baits on.

I just got my name today. Did some research and placed my order. I have a couple things I want added to it so I had it shipped to me first. Supposed to be here by the 17th, I will get it shipped ASAP and hopefully you get it by Christmas.

That has become a common thing here in Oklahoma the past few years in regards to tornado watches and warnings. I actually think it is in very poor taste to be telling folks that the worst is coming to install fear in people, especially the elderly. These days, if there is a storm with absolutely zero threat of a tornado, the major new stations will interrupt regular programming for hours on end showing the "storm chasers". IMO it has had the opposite effect of what the intended. I no longer take the threats seriously because of the side show it has become.

Man, dealing with these kids everyday is a constant struggle.

Yes she is, last I heard they took her to an in patient psychiatric hospital. Found out a little more today. This family is very well off, I'm talking loaded, and you would have never been able to tell it by looking at their house or him or her. She is overweight and recently had back surgery and apparently has been on a lot of pain meds and in a wheel chair. On top of that she had been drinking pretty heavy as well. He is currently staying with his aunt (Mom's sister) and will probably not be coming back to our school. We all chipped in and sent him a pair of shoes, jacket and a couple shirts with a card telling him we were thinking about him.

I debated on even telling this story, but my mind is very upset tonight. We learned this morning that one of our students(an 8th grader). His Mom came into the room last night with a gun to her head and told him "I can't do this anymore". He jumped up and grabbed her and was able to wrestle the gun away from her. He called 911 and he was able to leave the situation for the time being. As a public school teacher I have heard things that most people could never even imagine would happen. Most of you are probably like me and live a relatively happy life, but just know, there are some out there dealing with things that we couldn't even imagine. This young man will be scarred the rest of his life. My mom's mother took her life when my mom was 14 and she still doesn't understand it. So when you think you have it bad because you had to wait 3 min to get your coffee, or your cheeseburger had pickles when you asked for no pickles, think about this thing we call LIFE and what some people actually go through. BTW, the stories I could tell would not be appropriate for this site.

I ALWAYS give another boat or a bank angler the right of way. If I am working a bank and heading toward another boat or bank angler, I usually just say "I will go around, there ain't S&^t here anyway" LOL

So all 4 reels have braid and it does it on all 4 reels? That was what I asked.

Georgia If I were a Mich fan, that would not make me happy, but I don't think the committee wants Bama vs. Georgia in the semi's. The other option would be this order and have Bama vs Georgia in the semi's 1. Bama 2. Michigan 3. Cincy 4. Georgia

Man, I would hate to be in your shoes, because I'm afraid of what I would do. My dog stays out at night and maybe once a week she wakes me up barking (probably at an armadillo or squirrel or something) but when it happens I want to shoot her(LOL not really) but I can only imagine what I would do if it weren't my dog. Luckily, my nearest neighbors are about 1/4 mile away. If it were me, I would go talk to the people first and be as polite as I could. Then if nothing is done I would call the law and see if anything could be done. As far as the dogs that come down there while you are fishing, I would also check the leash laws to see if you could have anything done. Sounds like a situation that I wouldn't want to be in for sure.

Glad I'm not a betting man. I would have bet my house OSU would have beat Baylor.

I have made a couple posts about this guy and the impact NIL is going to have on NCAA football. Here is yet another example of how it is going to ruin the game. With the new transfer rule and the new NIL rule, college football is a thing of the past. Just look at Lincoln Riley and Brian Kelly leaving, along with so many commitments flipping. It's out of control. This kid made over a million dollars and never played a meaningful snap and is now searching for a new team.
