  1. One word ... yes! Upgraded my Silver Max ... casts so much better!
  2. Get well soon ...
  3. I think that was a mistake. Lowrance didn't release a 4 series chirp yet.
  4. Air Force pilot and/or Astronaut. With my eyesight at the time it was a definite NO. Ended up working on them (indirectly) when I worked for Lockheed Martin earlier on in my career.
  5. I don't know ... It's right by the airport ... You can just shoot me now. Peacock Bass is on my "wish list" and now my depression is at an all-time high. LOL
  6. I suspect it's because braid floats. The idea is to get it down there. Since FC sinks it's ideal for the technique. I have been researching this technique as well and intend to experiment with it once I can fish again. I prefer braid too but I need to see if I can get it down there with the leader too. Another option to consider is the larger spybaits which are coming out. I would suspect the heavier lures would not be impacted as much as the smaller ones using straight braid.
  7. I don't know what is worse ... Working in Miami (76 degrees) for one day with a view of a large bay/lagoon which I cannot fish. http://instagram.com/p/wGsFCUjPu_/ Knowing that I am going home tomorrow ... back to temperatures in the 40's if I am lucky.
  8. Silenced by the Jaguars ... My giants don't even deserve an upper case "G".
  9. I just prefer the one with blades. I treat them like a spinnerbait on steroids. As for what bait ... I tend to use white swimbaits most.
  10. Thoughts and prayers sent.
  11. Local to me means DSG. I tend to buy there only if there is a great deal. Otherwise it's TW.
  12. Agree. Not impressed at all with any of the Black Friday deals thus far.
  13. Mike is less than an hour from me. Got to meet him this past year. Great guy and fantastic service. He took care of a spinning rod issue and helped me upgrade bearings on another reel including a full clean/lube of the bearings. You won't be disappointed. Hang in there ... this winter is going to be LONG i'm afraid.
  14. Have you seen this site? http://www.delawarevalleyoutdoors.com/dvo-show/2010/4/12/how-to-fish-lake-nockamixon-dvd.html
  15. Same to you all! It's snowing like crazy here right now. Dreaming of warmer weather days already!
  16. Never pegged you for a Lady Gaga fan ... Must have been those Albino Crawfish glasses she wore ... Okay ... lobster ... who cares! LOL
  17. Rods: Rapsody Rods (local brand) Reels: Abu Garcia Line: Seaguar (AbrazX, InvizX, Smackdown) Tackle: Strike King (primarily)
  18. One of my best friends lives near that lake. Definitely peaked my interest. we try to fish it every year.
  19. I used it for a month with a similar promotion. Ended up canceling because I didn't think it was worth it. Get more out of forums and our friend Glenn.
  20. That O-line is amazing. I guarantee other teams will be trying to build their O-line using that model moving forward. I have never, EVER, seen a QB have that much time behind center. I made a coffee during one of the drop backs. Something else you would appreciate ... brought me to tears. http://www.funnyordie.com/articles/0ea539ade8/eli-manning-and-odell-beckham-jr-s-text-message-conversation-after-the-catch
  21. I just mute and observe ... I have done this for some shows when trying to observe how they work a technique and I don't want to be distracted by their instruction.
  22. If the docks are pressured try to cover as much as the bank as possible. Just make sure not to infringe on other camping spots without permission. If they offer kayak rentals take advantage of it.
  23. First time I am seeing the T-Rig like this though. Thanks for sharing. Looks similar to a weedless neko rig. The action implies that there is some weight at the bottom similar to a neko rig.
