  1. Exactly ... LOL. This is what I was going to say.
  2. Not a great "catching" video but definitely looks like it would be quite an effective setup.
  3. You can't go wrong with either Power Pro.
  4. I'm one of the comverted. I use hi-vis yellow Power Pro and 8lb InvizX
  5. Lost some decent fish to break offs. Just threw the line away.
  6. I hope you are right. For some reason this offseason just seems a bit worse than years past.
  7. Giants Injury prone porous O-Line. One finger short on "D" thanks to JPP. No running back One helluva receiving core I'm not too optimistic right now.
  8. This one seems like fun ... Here goes my list. 9. If you were a bit closer I would let you try out mine for a little bit. I just became brave enough to begin fishing in a standing position. Last year I felt like a newborn learning to walk when I stood up so I held back from standing while I fish. A few weeks ago I was hooked up on a bass for the 1st time in a standing position and quickly went into a seated position to bring em in. Little by little. LOL
  10. I am a very proud owner of a Wilderness System Ride 115x. It is perfect for me. With that said I "tested" a bunch of yak's before settling on this one. The Ascend series of Yak's are great if price is a big factor. I almost went there but decided to splurge when I got my Ride.
  11. John Cox ... He is the reason I am a tournament angler. One guided trip with him 4 years ago and I was hooked. Scott Martin is my #2.
  12. I have been considering adding a float tube to my recreational fishing. I read the articles and did some digging on brands and such but don't see anything which recommends any float tube in particular. Anybody care to give a recommendations or general feedback on float tube bass fishing from their perspectives ... Thanks Felix
  13. Whistle and knife at a min. I tend to add stuff based on what I am fishing that day. Rig-wraps have become a go to for my drop shot setups.
  14. They do ... I use them on a drop shot.
  15. Is there too much line on the spool? That's the only time it seems to happen to me. FWIW - The most I spool on my spinning reels is 15lb.
  16. Agree ... If you had to go with 1 spool then fill it with braid and add leaders using a braid to fc leader as needed.
  17. Local clubs are the way to go IMO.
  18. Based on my catches as of late ... I would say about 3-5.
  19. FWIW - I have a collection of 2 and 3 piece rods for when I travel. For the Toledo Bend trip I took 2 2-piece (Abu Vengeance) and 2 3-Piece (Bass Pro Extremes). 2 baitcasters (M and MH) 2 spinning (M and MH) I can cover my entire tacklebox with these rods without any real issues. Look into the BassPro Extreme, Browning Travel and you already mentioned the St. Croix which looks nice. The St. Croix I saw was 4 pieces. If I had a choice between 1 and 2 piece rods I would always get a 1 piece. It really all depends on your need for storage, portability etc. Hope this helps.
  20. Rage Frog or Ribbit Frog. If you need to slow down then a regular frog. In slop like this I have also taken a Swim-n Caffeine Shad rigged it weightless and swam it like topwater. Fun, Fun, Fun!
  21. I switched out mine from Invizx to Abrazx. It is less stretchy and as advertised more abrasion resistant. However it does have a ton more memory IMO than Invizx. FWIW I went from 20 Invizx to 20 Abrazx.
  22. That had me laughing out loud when he said that. Going into my fishing dictionary too.
  23. If stupid produces things like this then count me in !!! Nice bass!
  24. Fav: Finesse Swimbait Least: Crankbait ... can't seem to get them working for me.
