mudhole has videos on line how to wrap guides. there are others out there just go to youtube and search rod wrapping. it's easy.been building my own rods for 6 years now.
I still use my 4600s all the time for just about everything. the other reel I use a lot is an old black/pro max 1600s. don't have a problem with either one casting any size lure. can't beat an abu.
also check the golf courses. ask if you can fish them. I found that asking before than just going out was I given permission. I live just south of you and there are some awesome looking spots on google earth.
was wondering this morning when my line broke and was putting a new hook on.how many out there sharpen hook or do you just dress the points when it gets a little bent. just wondering.
#15 big game, cause it floats. helps keep lure up in the water column. carolina keeper, weight depends on the conditions, wind, current etc. lure-fry,slider worm,or those special time will throw a tube.
skeeter is darn good boat.you can't go wrong with that model. 2 guys in our club have one. they love em. if I didn't love my Ranger so much i'd have a skeeter.
have been using stick-it shallow water anchors for years. cost of both was 175.00. lot better than 1200.00 for one power pole.can put one up front one in back and when not using they are stored out of the way.
look on ebay for a abu black max 1600,or a pro max 1600 they are little round reels that are bulletproof. you can put faster gears in them, great reels have 5 of em. I to like to use round ambassaduer reels. and these reels are perfect for someone with smaller hands also.
